A travel blogger accused of the double murder of a baker and his daughter in the Queensland region has a wild romantic past and was in a bizarre love triangle.
Video obtained by Daily Mail Australia shows accused murderer Kristen Olsen, 24, and one of her romantic interests being detained by police in wild scenes where she screams and cries in the street.
It can also be revealed that, in a bizarre coincidence, Olsen’s sister runs Acacia Nails & Beauty in the building next door to the bakery on Biggenden’s main street, owned by 54-year-old Todd Mooney.
Mooney was allegedly murdered along with his 10-year-old daughter Kirra five days before Christmas.
Olsen’s sister Sam, who runs the business on Edward Street, Biggenden, changed her Facebook name to Sam Moody on Wednesday after her younger sister was charged with the alleged double murder.
Kristen Olsen, who is also the creator of OnlyFans and a self-proclaimed gypsy, has been in pretrial detention since appearing in the Maroochydore Local Court.
The travel blogger charged with the double murder of baker Biggenden and his 10-year-old daughter Kirra has a wild romantic past that includes a love triangle with a Maryborough couple.
The Acacia Nail salon is next door to the Biggenden Bakery, operated by Todd Mooney, who died in the shed fire Dec. 20 on his property several miles outside of town.
A Maryborough woman shared an expletive-laden video of Kristen Olsen and a man arrested by police in 2021 after a domestic violence incident.
The woman said that after discovering that her former partner had had a sexual relationship with Ms Olsen, the younger woman had sent her several messages.
In the video, Olsen is seen screaming and crying as she is loaded into a police car and the man is placed in a police van.
The man was charged, while Olsen was released without charge.
The man, who is a convicted drug user with a history of ice addiction, has since lost contact with Ms. Olsen.
Kristen Olsen has a minor sentence in Queensland for drink driving, to which she pleaded guilty at Cairns Magistrates Court in May last year.
She was fined $500 and disqualified from driving for one month.
Todd Mooney, above, died in a fire along with his 10-year-old daughter Kirra just before Christmas.
Queensland Police allege that Kristen Olsen deliberately started the fire that destroyed the large shed on the Mooney family property (above) 3.4km from Biggenden on December 20.
Earlier in the week, it was revealed that the police investigation into the alleged murders of Todd and Kirra Mooney now focused on a white van seen in the area on the same day as the fire.
Todd and Kirra Mooney were found dead inside a burned-out shed on their property in Biggenden on December 20 at around 12:20 p.m.
Kristen Olsen was charged with two counts of murder and four counts of arson related to the Biggenden incident and another alleged fire in Maryborough.
Queensland Police released an image of a white Holden Barina wagon sporting a distinctive solar panel on its roof as they intensified their investigation.
The body of 10-year-old Kirra Mooney was found in the blackened remains of the shed.
Kristen Olsen, 24, (pictured) was charged with two counts of murder and one count of arson in the deaths of Todd Mooney, 54, and Kirra Mooney, 10, on Friday.
“Investigators are calling on anyone who saw the vehicle between 10am and 2pm on December 20 between Biggenden and Bam Bam Springs to come forward,” a spokesperson said.
Queensland Police Chief Inspector of Detectives Gary Pettiford confirmed a week ago that Olsen was the only person of interest “at this stage” of the investigation.
She said that while she had no known ties to the Mooney family, she had attended school in Biggenden, located in the North Burnett region of Queensland.
Mooney, who owns a bakery in town, had planned to marry his longtime partner, Bec Hansen, at the property the same week she died.
Todd Mooney, 54, and his 10-year-old daughter Kirra Mooney (pictured, Todd and Kirra as babies) were found dead inside a burned-out shed on their property in Biggenden, south-east Queensland, on 20 December around 12:20 pm
Queensland Police released an image of a white Holden Barina wagon seen driving in the area on the day of the fire on Monday night.
Ms. Hansen had been working at the bakery the day the fire started.
Olsen is believed to have made the 15-hour journey up the coast from Cairns to the town of Biggenden in December.
On November 24, he told his followers that he was “back, bigger and better than ever” and thanked them for their support over the years in a lengthy Facebook post.
He shared a link to his ‘SlipperyGypsy.69’ OnlyFans page for people who wanted to see ‘where my feet are taking me and what they are continually teaching me’.
“These two-legged hawks have taken me to the heart of Far North Queensland… a city surrounded by jungle… where I can be myself,” she wrote in the post.
‘For those who don’t know, I defend the land; our last sustainable life force.
“Over the years, my bare feet have taken me places, exploring new ventures and commemorating the origins of Australia’s vast lands and communities.”
On the home page of her adult-only subscription site, Olsen said she is a “barefoot gypsy from a small town exploring the many pleasures of life.”
Detective Chief Inspector Gary Pettiford confirmed a week ago that Olsen was the only person of interest ‘at this stage’ of the investigation.
