Bitter trolls have targeted a instagram January post to attack Geelong star Ollie Henry with embarrassing messages after his team’s loss to Collingwood on Friday night.
The 20-year-old left the Magpies out for the season, and some fans just can’t seem to get over him.
Henry scored twice against his former team on Friday at MCG, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Craig McRae’s side from taking a 22-point victory.
The forward celebrated one of his majors by covering his ears to silence vocal detractors clad in black and white, and then some ‘fans’ took to social media to attack the young gun.
Among the brutal comments were: ‘You can’t meet an open goal, you fail…enjoy the L (loss), with another post: ‘back to 2’ [reserve grade] you sell yourself

In the lead up to Friday’s game, Magpies forward Beau McCreery told the first poddy tensions could boil over.
“There’s a bit of bad blood there in a way,” he said.
“They (Geelong) are always good and obviously someone (Henry) has left Collingwood to go there.”
As a teenager, Henry represented the Geelong Falcons in the NAB League.
He was then drafted by Collingwood as the 17th pick in the 2020 AFL draft, before requesting a ‘home’ switch to join his brother Jack Henry at the end of the 2022 AFL season.
