The Duchess of York has often spoken about her close relationship with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
‘I’m very proud of them and they’re very proud of me. We are three women and the best way to empower people is to lead by example.’ she said Hello! magazine.
Following Beatrice’s recent pregnancy announcement, Sarah shared a post on social media to say how “becoming a grandmother again fills my heart with so much happiness and gratitude.”
The family are close, with the Duchess often accompanying her daughters to events, and the trio have supported several charities together.
The mother of two appeared with her eldest, Beatrice, at New York Climate Week in September.
Earlier this year, the Duchess featured in a video with Eugenie for the Anti-Slavery Collective.

Her admiration for her mother was evident when she reflected on the extent to which she had influenced her.
She said: “It has always been your goal to impact people around the world, and it has been such an inspiration to me growing up.
“You are truly an inspiration as a mother and leader.”
Sarah made it clear that she felt the same way about her daughters.
Family is important to Sarah and despite her divorce from their father Prince Andrew in 1996, she has maintained a close-knit unit.
The Duchess now lives with her former husband at Royal Lodge in Windsor and they have been holidaying together as a family.
Beatrice previously said her parents are the “best divorced couple I know” because they get along so well.
Empowering her daughters seems to be another priority for the Duchess. On Beatrice’s birthday in August this year, she shared images of her ‘amazing daughter’ on social media.

She wrote: ‘Happy birthday, my wonderful Beatrice. You are the most amazing daughter, mother, stepmother, sister, wife and wife!
‘I feel so privileged to learn from you every day. You continue to inspire me and the people around you with your warmth, curiosity and zest for life. I love you. Congratulations.’
The social media post wasn’t the first time Sarah spoke highly of her daughters as mothers.
Last year she told her podcast Tea Talks with the Duchess and Sarah how they both work ‘very hard’.
Neither Beatrice nor Eugenie receive income from the Sovereign Grant and both work outside the Royal Family.

They both have children: Beatrice, now pregnant, is mother to Sienna, three, and stepmother to eight-year-old Christopher Woolf, while Eugenie has August, three, and one-year-old Ernest.
Sarah praised the two ‘working mums’, adding: ‘My girls are incredible’.
She said both are “great supporters of charity” and a “great representation of the late Queen’s values.”
‘It is both private and public, it is not about working or not working. They work very, very hard, privately and publicly,” she added.
She said the couple has an “extraordinary” work-life balance. “I’m so proud of them, they are amazing mothers,” she added.
The sisters never miss an opportunity to talk about their close bond with their mother, and in May this year Beatrice announced that the Duchess was ‘now completely free’ after being diagnosed with breast cancer last year and skin cancer in January.

She said: ‘We’re really lucky in Britain so make sure you can get those checks as best you can and hopefully we can be there to support each other if someone is going through a health scare.’
She told ITV’s This Morning: ‘She’s been through so much. And her sense of purpose and resilience really keeps me going.
‘We are just reminded when a parent or individual has a health scenario: make sure you really get the checks you need, and as early as possible.
Sarah was supported by her daughters and her during her recovery told People magazine: ‘My two amazing daughters are my true cheerleaders, my dedicated champions and my soulmates, and they have been as supportive as they can be, as they always are.’
