Trinny Woodall’s daughter Lyla Elichaoff pokes fun at her beauty guru mum as she compares her bright yellow outfit to a highlighter pen on luxurious Egypt holiday

Trinny Woodall’s daughter Lyla Elichaoff has poked fun at her beauty guru mum’s outfit during a holiday to Egypt.

The TV presenter, 60, and Lyla, 21, are currently enjoying a lavish trip to Egypt, including trips to see the incredible pyramids.

But in a tongue-in-cheek Instagram post on Wednesday, as they headed to Edfu Temple, Lyla compared her mother’s day trip to a bright yellow highlighter.

Trinny stepped out for the day in a very striking pale yellow co-ord set, complete with chiffon wide leg trousers and a matching scarf top wrapped around her. She also tied a green and yellow tie-dye sweater around her waist.

Lyla joked about the outfit and shared a photo of her mother edited with a photo of a highlighter via her Instagram Story.

While in another, she tapped her mother from afar and added the caption: “Find the highlighter.”

Meanwhile, Trinny shared another photo of her and her daughter posing as she wrote: ‘Thought she loved my look…’

In another photo, Lyla was excited as Trinny captioned it, “January 1, 2025…The temple in Edfu.”

Last year, Lyla revealed she thought her mum and Susannah Constantine would now be ‘cancelled’ when asked about their show What Not To Wear.

“I think they would be canceled if the show was made now.

“You can’t talk to people like that anymore and say things like, ‘You’re so ugly.’

Lyla graced the cover of Tatler alongside Susannah’s daughter Esme Bertelsen, 23, as they joked that their mums would now probably be ‘canceled’ because of the way they spoke to each other. The pair have been friends through their mothers for most of their lives.

While the duo grew up on London’s fashion scene, Lyla and Esme admitted they had never seen What Not To Wear or Trinny & Susannah Undress.

When asked if they were fans of the show, they both replied simultaneously, “I’ve never watched it.”

Lyla patted her mother from far away and added the caption:

But they do remember some of their time on sets, as Esme said: ‘I remember going to places like Poland or Sweden and doing the European tours.

Lyla added, “I was six or seven. It was in a country in Europe, but I can’t remember which one.

“This woman wanted to look like Hannah Montana, and no one knew who that was but me, so I had to help.”

Their mothers have also treated them to some of their iconic fashion pieces over the years.

Esme revealed that her mother gave her a pair of snakeskin heels, a chiffon Prada dress, a long, multi-colored Missoni coat and silver and gold Miu Miu heels.

Meanwhile, Lyla was given a green and black Prada dress to wear for her 18th birthday party

Esme confessed that her mother gave her “free rein” to wear whatever she wanted.

“I was never allowed to wear ripped jeans,” Lyla added. “I think it’s good to let your kids develop their own fashion and make really bad mistakes.”
