Trinny Woodall models 23 ways to wear a white shirt – from adding jewellery to wearing back-to-front

Trinny Woodall has modeled 23 different ways to wear a white shirt on her Instagram on Wednesday.

Her team challenged the What Not To Wear star, 58, to style the staple piece in as many ways as possible.

She captioned the video: ‘I’m officially naming 2023 the year of… The White Shirt.

“When my team challenged me to style this piece in just 23 shapes, I had to look back at previous outfits, turn to understated accessories, and even turn to TikTok for some inspiration…”

Trinny began by instructing her followers to add shoulder pads to the garment, for added dramatic effect.

She commented, ‘It makes it something that has more structure.’

Then the top button of the shirt was turned up for a smarter look, while number three was the classic half fold.

Trinny tucked half of the shirt into her pants, revealing, “Shows the length of the leg.”

She then went in with a red lipstick to create a classic red lip for a pop of color, saying: ‘instantly fabulous’.

Number five was another unusual look, where you tuck your shirt collar in, so it’s hidden.

Next, Trinny took a clip on earring and turned it into a clasp ‘for that little extra sparkle’.

The next style was to take a ‘super cool’ necklace and tuck it under the neck like a ‘little tie’.

Next, the fashion guru advised her followers: “Take your shirt and treat it like a jacket.”

For a dressier look, Trinny revealed that number nine was to add a vest on top.

While number 10 is to wear the garment under a long-sleeved crew neck jumper, with Trinny adding, “You can layer it a bit and wrap it up gently” for look 11.

Next up was taking a small scarf ‘that has some merit’ and turning it into a necktie, with Trinny saying: ‘it just adds something’.

The thirteenth look involved turning the shirt into a crop top by tucking it into your bra.

She explained, “You can have a big crop that goes down the sides, or you could have a crop that goes all the way around.”

The diagonal crease was next, making a diagonal cut to the left, then to the right for a bit of detail in the front.

Then Trinny said, ‘Take a little twist and tuck in, and the little button on one side and it goes through and around the knot and into the buttonhole on the other side.’

She named number 16 as one of her favorites, saying, “If you have a dress where the color sits on you pretty strong and drains, put a camisole under it.”

Adding a full skirt was next, with TRINNY telling viewers to ‘raise the waist’ for that ‘light Edwardian’ look.

Number 18 was the most adventurous yet, with Trinny opting to wear the jersey backwards.

She then tucked the entire front in, but left the entire back of the shirt unbuttoned to create a gentle curve in the back.

Trinny admitted that she saw number 20 on TikTok and it involved twisting the entire shirt and buttoning it up in the back and securing the front with a snap to create “the most amazing drapes.”

The next looks were to pair the white shirt under a jumpsuit, and then the shirt under another collarless shirt, with Trinny commenting, “I love this.”

The last look that Trinny refused to wear herself, she explained that she was wearing a pair of shorts that are too short with a longer white shirt to “cover up her modesty.”
