She recalled that they were “trying” to conceive naturally and considered IVF before turning to natural remedies.
At the time, she explained that she had been in menopause for a year.
She explained that they sought help from “shamans” in Belize, where Thedford has a “cultural background,” and had worked with the Garifuna people to reverse the early stages of menopause.
She claimed that she and Thedford were able to conceive their baby because she started taking the medicinal herbs recommended to her in Belize and maintained her healthy lifestyle.

Additionally, McGee also said that living in a low-stress environment helped her reverse menopause symptoms and become pregnant.
“The most important thing for me is not to engage in any stress and stay away from negativity as much as possible, and that relates to what I put on TV, what I watch on my phone, you know, there’s so much drama and violence and negativity as soon as you turn on the screen,” she said.
“I really wanted it to be pointed out to me when I turn on the screen – what I’m looking at,” she continued. ‘Because stress is the biggest factor for me.’
In her interview with the outlet, she also feels hunger, nausea and exhaustion during her fourth pregnancy, but she remains positive despite the side effects.
As for what she’s feeling this time, McGee said she experienced “just pure joy.”
“I don’t participate in the negativity anyone has to say about it,” she continued. ‘I am so happy. I’m blessed, and that’s all.
“And the only thing I’m worried about – I only have one job now – is having this baby, and that’s what I care about.”
