Trey Songz sued for sexual assault after ‘exposing a woman’s breast’ without consent at a pool party

Trey Songz has been charged with sexual assault after a woman claimed he “bared” her breasts from her bikini top at a pool party in 2013 without her consent, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ on Friday.

The Bottoms Up rapper, 38, was also recently hit with a separate $25 million lawsuit in February after a woman alleged he raped her in 2016.

The woman, who goes by the anonymous name Jane Doe, is after not only the Grammy-nominated singer, but also the R&B star’s production company, record executive Kevin Liles, as well as Atlantic Records.

In the documents, she stated that the “multiple defendants” are responsible because they should have known about his “sexual proclivities” and further claimed that they “couldn’t control Trey during the event.”

Her lawyer claimed, according to TMZ, that the woman was “humiliated” after the incident and resulted in “prolonged emotional distress.”

Because of the “shame” that also followed her, the lawyer claimed that the woman had given up her “promising career” just months after the alleged assault.

Last year, in 2022, the woman sent a “letter of request” to Trey about the incident, which took place at the 2013 Foxwoods Liquid Sundays with Trey Songz event in Connecticut.

She is seeking damages totaling $10 million and also attached video capturing the incident on camera.

However, Trey’s attorney, Michael Freedman, denounced the allegations in a statement to TMZ on Friday.

“This is yet another example of a decade-old allegation being used in a federal case to capitalize on California’s constitutionally questionable new view. We look forward to proving Trey’s case in court.”

Earlier this year, in February, Songz was hit with a $25 million lawsuit related to a previous sexual assault allegation that was dismissed after the statute of limitations expired.

The woman, who was also looked up by Jane Doe in legal documents obtained by Rolling stonewent after Trey, his record label, manager Kevin Liles and 300 Entertainment as defendants, claiming that the parties should be held accountable for his actions.

Initially, a woman referred to as Jane Doe filed a rape report in February 2022 alleging that Songz, born Tremaine Aldon Neverson, forced her to have anal sex without her consent at a house party in LA on March 26, 2016.

She insisted she thought they were going upstairs for consensual sex, but without warning he “thrown her to the ground” and allegedly raped her, ignoring her cries of pain.

Apparently, naming record labels and affiliates is a relatively new strategy that legal teams use in sexual assault claims against musicians.

In the wake of the new lawsuit, Songz responded to the claims against him by taking to his Instagram Stories at the time.

‘Lies will never be the truth. No matter who chooses to believe that, he wrote in the post that ended with the Arabic phrase “alhamdulillah,” which translates to “praise be to God” or sometimes “thank God” in English.

In support of the new charges, Doe mentioned that she is not the first person to berate the singer and rapper for violent behavior, going on to list 10 other incidents, including an attack at a bowling alley in October where he allegedly hit a man and a woman during an altercation.

The woman also told police that Neverson “dragged” her after she allegedly tried to stop him from entering a bathroom with a woman in his entourage.

Former women’s college basketball player Dylan Gonzalez accused the Heart Attack star of raping her in Las Vegas. Las Vegas police reportedly investigated the allegations, but closed the investigation in April 2022.

In another case, Neverson was sued in December 2021 in Miami for $10 million by a woman who claimed that during a New Year’s Eve party in 2018, she felt his “fingers being inserted into her vagina” without her consent. him, he has denied any allegation.
