Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer has been sued for sexual battery by the woman who publicly accused him last year of choking and punching her during two sexual encounters.

The lawsuit is the latest chapter in the ongoing legal battle between the suspended MLB star and Lindsey Hill, who is countersuing Bauer in a federal courthouse in Los Angeles in response to his defamation suit against her filed in April.

Hill, who was 27 when she says Bauer sexually assaulted her in April and May of 2021, is accusing Bauer of attempting to silence her by suing her for defamation.

Attorneys for Hill did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.

In her filing, obtained by DailyMail.com, Hill seeks unspecified damages and reiterates accusations she made against Bauer in 2021.

‘Bauer has again victimized Hill by leveraging his considerable resources to file a meritless lawsuit based on Hill’s exercise of her legal rights in speaking with the proper authorities about what had happened,’ read her legal filing.

‘Bauer’s disgraceful message is clear: battered women should remain silent, because neither the police nor the courts will protect them from a rich man scorned.’

Bauer’s accuser, Lindsey Hill, claimed in her filing that she consented to have sex with Bauer on two occasions, but said he went overboard by punching her, chocking her unconscious, and sodomizing her without her consent. This photo was previously provided by her attorney

Hill, a San Diego native, was granted that temporary restraining order against Bauer on June 28, 2021 after being treated for her injuries at hospital near her home and giving a statement to police.

Her attempts to obtain a permanent restraining order against him here denied and prosecutors in Los Angeles said in February that they would not pursue criminal charges because there was insufficient evidence to prove her claims beyond a reasonable doubt.

Bauer has admitted the two had intercourse, but says both encounters were ‘wholly consensual.’

According to Bauer’s lawsuit, reviewed by DailyMail.com, Hill ‘fabricated allegations of sexual assault’ in order to create a ‘media blitz’ and ‘extract millions of dollars’ from the situation. The filing said ‘the damage to Mr. Bauer has been extreme’ after her claim that Bauer choked here into unconsciousness, punched her several times, and sodomized her without her consent.

The former Cy Young Award winner was placed on leave in 2021 after the allegations surfaced, and has since been given a 324-game suspension, which he is appealing. MLB does have the autonomy to suspend players without criminal convictions, as outlined in the league’s domestic violence policy.

Bauer steps out of the courthouse after prosecutors denied Hill’s request for a protective order

Hill is among three women who have accused Bauer of sexual assault.

As the Washington Post uncovered in August of 2021, an Ohio woman had also tried to get a temporary restraining order against Bauer in June of 2020, and police reports showed that she accused him of physical assault in 2017 after receiving death threats from the pitcher.

Then in April, the Post reported another Ohio woman’s claim that Bauer had also choked her unconscious and sodomized her without consent during his time with Cleveland’s minor league affiliate in Columbus, Ohio. She also shared screenshots of text messages with the Post, purportedly showing Bauer telling her: ‘I want to f*** you while you’re completely unconscious.’

Bauer has also denied these allegations.
