Trent Alexander-Arnold headed to Venice with his influencer girlfriend Estelle Behnke on his day off amid ongoing uncertainty over his future at Liverpool.

The defender, who sparked rumors of his new romance last month, was snapped at lavish Italian restaurant Regina Corner on Monday. The couple stayed at the £1,5,000-a-night Aman hotel in the idyllic town.

Alexander-Arnold and Behnke, who were recently photographed in the 26-year-old’s car as he left Anfield after the Reds’ win over Leicester City on Boxing Day, were thanked for ‘stopping at’ the Venetian restaurant during their short trip .

The outing comes in a rare midweek break for the right-back after Sunday’s emphatic 5-0 win over West Ham which put the Merseysiders eight points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Alexander-Arnold scored his first goal of the season in the win over the Hammers as speculation over his future at his boyhood club reaches fever pitch.

Perhaps tellingly, he debuted a new celebration when he scored at the London Stadium, making a chatter gesture to his ear as his deflected effort wrong-footed Alphonse Areola.
