Travis Scott’s message to LeBron James is going viral as fallout from the rapper’s Paris arrest continues

Travis Scott was cheered loudly on the sidelines on Thursday during Team USA’s comeback in the Olympic semifinal against Serbia.

Now, following the rapper’s arrest in Paris on Friday morning, his message to LeBron James, one of the main drivers of the comeback, is going viral.

“Someone tell @KingJames I need Olympic dicks,” Scott posted on X during the match. “That match was f*****g wild.”

According to local media, Scott was arrested after a brawl at a five-star hotel.

“Police officers were called to the Georges V hotel and arrested Travis Scott for assault on a security guard who had intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard,” the Paris prosecutor’s office said in a statement.

Team USA needed a fourth quarter comeback to beat Serbia and advance to the gold medal game

The American rapper, who is in Paris for the Olympic Games and whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was arrested around 5am near the Champs-Élysées.

According to a police source told the Daily Mail, the rapper was drunk at the time of the confrontation.

This isn’t Scott’s first run-in with the law, as he was arrested in Miami in June while on a yacht.

Scott sat next to Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin as the United States defeated Serbia. The Americans staged a fourth-quarter comeback but began the period trailing by 13 points.

James, along with Steph Curry and Kevin Durant, was the main force behind the United States advancing to Saturday’s gold medal game against host France.

Scott is believed to still be in custody in a Paris police cell early this afternoon.
