Travis Scott and tennis legend John McEnroe get into a HEATED argument over Nike sneakers collaboration: ‘Show some respect!’
Travis Scott and tennis legend John McEnroe appeared to have gotten into a rather heated argument while discussing their Nike sneaker collaboration.
The Sicko Mode rapper, 32 — who reportedly “owes over $100,000 in back taxes” in the state of California — apparently had a disagreement over the name of the shoe with the sports star, 64.
The incident occurred after an alleged Zoom call shared by Nice pedaling on Xformerly known as Twitter – although it is not known when the meeting actually took place.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Scott and McEnroe's reps but have not heard back.
The beginning of the clip – which was filmed by another person involved in the remote meeting – began with John shouting, “G******t, Travis!” while calling for a “bit of a compromise.”

It seemed that McEnroe preferred the line to be called Cactus Mac rather than Scott's proposal for Cactus Jack.
The artist could then be heard explaining his side of the matter, saying, “Cactus Mac was never a thing…”
However, the tennis player wasn't that excited and interrupted him with, 'Come on, man! Show some respect! This is my shoe!'
Keeping his tone calm, Travis explained, “I don't really feel like it. It feels like there's something weird about it, like selling hamburgers or something.”
He continued, “We're not trying to take any of that away from you. I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I have no intention of doing anything like that. Believe me. I know more about the value of the shoe than anyone else.”
'But at the moment it's the young ones who are really pushing me for what's going on now. I mean, you gotta trust me on this,” Scott added.
The role came to an end when John suddenly left the Zoom meeting shouting “Forget it!” called out.
Others on the call, including the rapper, heard that McEnroe was returning, but he had already left the meeting.

One wrote: 'This must be fake because who is he raising his voice at?' while another added: 'John ready to burst a blood vessel.'
One fan typed: 'Cactus Mac would be one [fire emoji] name for this collaboration. The best of both eras,” and another wrote, “'Sounds like a burger,' like it didn't work with McDonald's.”
Another typed: 'This is promo. Anyone who knows John McEnroe knows this,” and a follower added, “Nike and their marketing! McEnroe still yells like Travis is playing tennis.”
The exact date the alleged encounter took place is unknown, but earlier this year in March it was announced that Travis and John would be teaming up with Nike to reintroduce the tennis player's signature sneaker from 1984.
And in June, the popular shoe company released an ad campaign featuring the two for the Mac Attack.
The sports star had worn the Mac Attack sneaker while playing on the court in the 1980s, after the sneaker was launched in 1984 in a gray and black color scheme.

Scott notably launched his own contemporary fashion brand called Cactus Jack – which could explain his proposal to also call the Nike Mac Attack line Cactus Jack.
The redesigned shoes will feature the same gray and black color scheme as the original Mac Attack, while the Nike tick is designed backwards – which was first introduced by Scott in 2019, per British GQ.
Another addition to the original sneaker are the iconic checkered details on the tongue of the shoe.
The Nike Attack sneaker is currently available in classic black and white for consumers on the website – and can be purchased for $120. There are also two other styles available with a price range of $130-$140.
