Taylor Swift’s budding romance with NFL star Travis Kelce is drawing major reactions from his fellow Kansas City Chiefs, including coach Andy Reid, who joked about the couple’s introduction.

“I’ve met her before,” the decorated 65-year-old coach told reporters after Sunday’s 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears. “I set them up.”

Swift was pictured next to Kelce’s mother, Donna, during Sunday’s win, in which the All-Pro tight end caught a touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes. Afterward, Swift was caught on camera celebrating, appearing to shout, “Let’s f****** go!”

Mahomes said he had an inkling that Swift would be at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, but didn’t necessarily trust his source, Travis Kelce.

“He told me at the last minute,” Mahomes told reporters. “There are things with Trav where he just says it and you don’t know if it’s true or not. He says it so calmly:

“Yeah, I think she’s coming to the game this weekend,” Mahomes added, quoting his teammate. “And he went about his business.”

Somewhat surprisingly, Mahomes claimed he had not yet met Swift.

“She’s a pop star,” he said. ‘She’s a great singer, great in everything she does. I don’t need to meet her, but I think if she ends up with Travis, I’ll probably meet her at some point. She seems like a good person, so hopefully I’ll meet her one day.’

The eight-time Pro Bowler previously told ESPN’s Pat McAfee that he invited Swift to Sunday’s game.

“I told her I saw her rocking a stage in Arrowhead and maybe she should come see me rocking a stage in Arrowhead,” Kelce said. “We’ll see what happens in the near future.”

Kelce had previously shared on his “New Heights” podcast — which he hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce, at the Philadelphia Eagles center — that he was upset about his opportunity to give Swift a friendship bracelet — along with his phone number — hit the boards during her Kansas City stop of the Eras Tour.

After the game, Kelce recorded a video praising Reid for moving past legendary former Dallas Cowboys coach Tom Landry for sole possession of fourth place on the all-time wins list.

“Get ready man, we gotta get Coach Reid to No. 1,” Kelce said in a video post on the NFL’s X account.

‘He’s just reached four, we have to get him to number 1. But in the meantime, we’ll keep getting these dubs, baby. Chiefs Kingdom, make a loud baby.”
