Travis Kelce’s mom Donna reveals Taylor Swift ‘hope’ one year after couple went public with romance

Despite being in a relationship with her son Travis for over a year, Donna Kelce still hasn’t seen any of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows in person.

Still, she hopes that will finally change in the near future, as the pop star’s romance with Travis continues to grow stronger.

“I hope so, I hope so. I would like that,” she said People about possibly attending a Swift live concert. “It’s spectacular.”

She added: ‘I saw [the Eras Tour movie] and I liked it. It was great.’

Although she’s a huge fan now, Donna admitted that she wasn’t a “Swiftie” before her relationship with Travis.

“I would say no. My era was Earth, Wind and Fire, Chaka Khan, that kind of thing,” the 71-year-old said.

Swift has been in a stormy relationship with Donna’s son Travis for over a year

‘That’s more my music. But talent is talent of course.’

It’s been a year since Swift, who currently has a gap in her Eras Tour schedule, publicly confirmed she was dating Kelce by heading to Arrowhead to see him play for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Chicago Bears.

Exactly 12 months later, the two are perhaps the most famous celebrity couple in the world. Their musical and football talents are the perfect combination.

Donna has been spotted with Taylor at a number of Travis’ Chiefs games over the past year, including the Super Bowl in Las Vegas in February.

During the premiere of Ryan Murphy’s new horror series ‘Grotesquerie,’ which marks Travis’ acting debut, family mom Kelce revealed why she thinks Taylor and her son are a perfect fit for each other.

“He’s a good guy. He really is. He’s good,” Donna told Page Six about Travis.

Kelce’s mom believes he and Swift are a perfect match because they’re both “kind and generous” (Pictured: Donna and Taylor at last season’s Super Bowl)

“He’s kind. He’s generous. And as far as I know, so is she.”

Kelce’s romance with Swift allowed him to parlay his increased fame into new opportunities, including acting, such as in the 10-episode horror drama Grotesquerie on FX.

“Oh, it’s so great. Just to see your kids doing what they absolutely love to do, and hopefully this is something he enjoys! I know he wanted to try it [acting]“We’ll see how it goes,” Donna Kelce said.

She later added: “I just can’t believe what has happened over the last few years.”
