But Kelce’s close friends believe the relationship is much more important than most realize
In a new report from PeopleKelce’s close friends have indicated that the couple is serious and that their relationship is not just for the cameras.
“Travis’ friends think this is the real deal for him,” says an insider close to the Chiefs player. “They’re still a little shocked that he’s dating the Taylor Swift, but they’ve seen how down to earth she is with his friends and family.”
The source added that their romance is “growing” as both Kelce and Swift appreciate the other’s achievements in their respective fields.
“They are both very hard workers, and he recognizes that her art is hers, and he has what is his,” they added. “He understands the terrain their relationship faces and, as he said, he doesn’t let the hoopla affect the way they grow together.”
The source concluded by saying that Travis “sees Taylor for who she is and vice versa.”
Swift and Kelce appear ready to reunite after the singer performed her final Eras Tour concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil, this weekend.
She reportedly took a private jet that flew from Tampa, Florida on Monday and landed just outside Kansas City, Missouri, where the Chiefs star lives.

Swift, 33, wasn’t able to see her boyfriend in action on Sunday when they defeated the Las Vegas Raiders because she was on the road, but it appears the hitmaker and Kelce, 34, will be reunited.
Eagle-eyed Swifties followed her private jet as it took off Monday morning en route to Kansas City.
It’s unclear how long Swift will visit Kelce, but she could return to the stands this weekend when the Chiefs face the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday.
Swift was the star attraction at several Kelce’s Chiefs games this season, cheering on her new boyfriend three times from the stands at Arrowhead and supporting him alongside her famous posse at MetLife Stadium when Kansas City played the New York Jets.
She previously stayed with the two-time Super Bowl winner at his $1 million mansion in Kansas City.
