Travis Kelce’s ex Kayla Nicole appears to throw shade at Chiefs star
Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole appeared to take a thinly veiled swipe at the Kansas City Chiefs star ahead of their latest win over the New Orleans Saints.
The Chiefs continued the flawless start to their second straight Super Bowl defense Monday night by defeating the Saints in Arrowhead, a win that moved them to 5-0 on the season.
It was another successful night for Kelce, who once again silenced his critics by hauling in nine catches for 70 yards as girlfriend Taylor Swift watched from the stands.
Prior to last week’s win at the LA Chargers – in which he had seven catches for 89 yards – the tight end had been heavily criticized for his slow start to the season after posting the worst numbers of his career through three games.

And heading into their matchup with the Saints, Nicole couldn’t resist pointing that out as she previewed Monday’s game I am an athlete every day.
The 32-year-old broadcaster asked the panel: “It’s been a slow start for the guy Travis Kelce… do you think he’s going to get more than 58.5 receiving yards?”
Fans quickly saw the funny side after Nicole aimed a sly attack on her former husband, with one writing, “The way I cackled when she said ‘the man Travis Kelce’ – Kayla you are so real for this lmao.”
Another laughed: “The way she pretended she didn’t know who ‘that man’ was.”
While one said: ‘It’s not personal, it’s business honey!’
Nicole dated Kelce from 2017 to May 2022, breaking up over a year before his whirlwind romance with Swift began.
Nevertheless, she was able to speak out about her failed relationship with the NFL legend when she appears on WNBA star Angel Reese’s podcast this week.

After her relationship with Travis ended, Kayla recently revealed that she has unfollowed longtime friends Patrick and Brittany Mahomes to move on with her own life, as they welcomed Taylor into their own friendship group.
She told PEOPLE: ‘The reality is that I know these people in real life. And so in real life I communicated with these people why I had to make the decisions I made publicly.
‘There is a lot of history and friendship in it, that doesn’t change from one day to the next.
“But publicly, because things happen so quickly and so publicly, I have to protect myself. That’s actually all. The love is still there.’
