Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole has chosen her side in the US presidential election – and it’s markedly different from Brittany Mahomes’.
After Chiefs quarterback Patrick’s wife Brittany liked a post by Donald Trump on social media, Nicole made her allegiances clear on Friday by sharing a photo of a young girl watching Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ speech at the DNC.
Nicole did not directly reference Trump or her former friend Brittany.
Nicole’s Instagram Story about Harris, however, struck a different tone than Brittany has done in recent days, after observant social media users noticed the expectant mother of three liking a post from Trump in which she outlined 16 of his policies to his 26.3 million followers.
The post discussed topics such as immigration and economics.

And after Mahomes’ like was made public, she angrily responded to “haters” with a message on her Instagram Story.
“Honestly, if you are a hater as an adult you must have deep rooted issues that you are not willing to heal as a child,” she wrote.
“There’s no reason why your brain should be fully developed and you should be upset to see others doing well,” she added.
Interestingly, a tweet from 2017 has also surfaced in which Brittany indicated that she was not impressed with Trump during his presidency.
In addition to the backlash she’s received online, Brittany’s recent outpouring of support for Trump’s policies could also have ramifications for her friendship with pop star Taylor Swift, who is in a relationship with her husband’s teammate and close friend Kelce.
Swift has previously expressed her disdain for Trump and supported his former rival Joe Biden for the 2020 election.
Some fans now think that Brittany and Taylor’s relationship could be in trouble.
Someone wrote on X: ‘Well, it looks like Brittany can forget about being in the skyboxes with Taylor Swift from now on. That could really put a strain on their tik tok relationship.’
Another wrote: ‘This season is going to be awkward in the stadium suites with Brittany and Taylor Swift.’

Since Travis and his teammate Patrick Mahomes are good friends, Taylor and Brittany have developed a close friendship, having been spotted together at Chiefs games.
Kelce and Swift have been in a public relationship since last fall, with the music superstar watching him fight the Bears at Arrowhead Stadium for the first time in September.
The tight end and Nicole started dating in 2017 and had an on-again, off-again relationship for five years.
