Travis Kelce’s dad Ed reveals he has been banned for LIFE from X

Ed Kelce, father of beloved NFL brothers Travis and Jason Kelce, says he’s banned from X for life, but he doesn’t know why.

He made the revelation on Facebook, where he shared a news story claiming that Houthi arms dealers are using X to sell weapons.

Kelce wrote: ‘Gun dealers are allowed to list their wares on X, but I’m banned for life and they won’t say why. It’s just a general violation of the ‘Terms of Use.’

Ed and the rest of the Kelce family rose to fame quickly after the Kansas City Chiefs star started dating Taylor Swift last September.

The Kelce brothers joked on their New Heights podcast that they felt nervous when their father spoke to Swift during a Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos last October.

“If you watched the game, you saw something important happen,” Jason said.

“Great,” Travis added, before Jason continued, “He shouldn’t be talking to Taylor Swift.

“If you see Dad talking to someone and you can’t hear what’s happening, who knows where that conversation is going.”

Travis continued, “You know Dad like I know Dad. This is a terrifying conversation. I felt terrible for Taylor for participating in this.”

Despite Travis laughing at his father for the incident, he continued to insist in the same segment of the show that he and Jason have “the best f***ing dad in the world.”

And it seems Taylor and Ed are getting along well. They were photographed together when the Chiefs defeated the Ravens last season to reach the Super Bowl. Ed has previously paid tribute to what Swift looks like behind the scenes.

“Every game, people line up in front of the pack to see and meet Taylor,” Ed said on the TODAY show in January.

‘Taylor is very friendly, but she can’t do everything. And she has security guards who don’t want her to do anything.

“That’s their job, and she’s smart enough to know, ‘I’m paying these guys to protect me. I should probably listen to them.’ But if it were up to her, she’d be there with anyone who would have her.”

Ed and Swift will likely be spending more time together soon. The NFL season kicks off on September 5 when the Chiefs play the Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Travis and Taylor are enjoying some time off before the season resumes, at her Rhode Island mansion with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes after the singer’s European tour ended last week.
