Travis Kelce was left a hilarious note in his locker by Chiefs Christmas movie stars Tyler Hynes and Hunter King

When Travis Kelce returned to the Chiefs headquarters for training camp this week, he found a sweet note waiting for him in his locker.

Actors Tyler Hynes and Hunter King, who star in the upcoming Hallmark film Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, revealed that Travis’ mother Donna encouraged them to “hide a note in Trav’s locker.”

‘I wrote the lyrics for Friends in Low Places [by Garth Brooks] because he sang it on the [Super Bowl] parade I was at, and I said, ‘Don’t ever change,’ Hynes said in an interview with People.

His co-star King chimed in: “That’s what you wrote?” to which he replied: “Yeah. What did you write?”

She explained, “I wrote something like, ‘Thank you for letting us steal your field and your mother.

Hynes replied, “I think that’s great.”

Although Travis doesn’t appear in the Christmas movie, his mother has a small role as the manager of Norma & Nic’s BBQ restaurant in Kansas City.

“She’s a sweetheart,” King said of the 71-year-old.

“She’s lovely and I loved having her on set. It was so much fun talking to her.”

It comes just weeks after the NFL and Skydance Sports confirmed that the film would begin filming in July, with production set to take place entirely in Kansas City.

In the film, King’s character Alana is “confident that her family’s lifelong history as Kansas City Chiefs superfans makes them a contender to win the team’s ‘Fan of the Year’ award,” according to a Chiefs Press Release.

Derrick, the team’s director of fan engagement, must decide whether Alana’s family is a strong contender for the game. “As the two spend time together, it’s clear that there’s a spark between them.”

Hynes, known for his role in ‘The Three Wise Men and a Baby’, appeared with Donna in a promo for the NFL earlier this year.
