Travis Kelce has received dating advice from retired NBA veteran Lamar Odom as the Kansas City Chiefs continue his relationship with Taylor Swift.
“My advice would be to be strong, stay with her and be as close to her as possible,” Odom said The messenger.
“There are going to be millions of women who want to taste what Taylor Swift tastes and it can be overwhelming because we are men,” Odom continued. “He just needs to be strong and stick with his girl and he'll be fine.”
There are a few previous examples of sports stars in relationships with someone possibly even more famous than them, such as former baseball player David Justice and actress Halle Berry.
Odom was married to Khloe Kardashian from 2009 to 2016 and was a regular on the reality TV series 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' as well as the couple's spin-off 'Khloe & Lamar'.

Kelce has been dating Taylor Swift since September, and his celebrity status is skyrocketing
Swift has won twelve Grammys and is the second biggest musical act in the world after Kelce
Like Kelce, Odom could be recognized by people who had never seen him play basketball because of a partner's fame.
Kardashian has participated in numerous television shows and has been in the public eye since childhood because of her famous father, Robert Kardashian, who was best known as OJ Simpson's lawyer during his murder trial.
Although Odom and Kardashian achieved a high level of celebrity status during their relationship, Swift's status as the biggest musical act in the world makes interest in her personal life a premium investment for all fans.
Like Odom and Kardashian, Kelce has participated in an E! Network reality television series of the past, “Catching Kelce,” which ran for one season in 2016.
Swift and Kelce have been dating since September, and the duo has been spotted together several times since, including the tight end flying to Argentina to attend some of last month's 12 Grammy Award winners concerts.
