According to a source who spoke to DailyMail.com, Travis Kelce will follow Taylor Swift’s lead and support Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States.
After Swift confirmed Tuesday night that she will be voting for Harris over Donald Trump in this year’s presidential election, Kelce is poised to announce that he will do the same in November.
An insider claimed that the Kansas City Chiefs superstar is proud of his girlfriend for supporting Harris and that she “understood the assignment” after she did so.
“Travis will definitely support Kamala and will do so very soon – maybe within a day or so,” a source close to Kelce told DailyMail.com. “After Taylor revealed her support for Kamala, Travis knew what he had to do. He understood the mandate.
“He was very proud of Taylor for finally speaking up and he supports her in everything she does, this will be no different. They share the same beliefs, ideals and goals, and this is one of them.

Swift’s support for Harris comes as no surprise, as she has previously aligned herself with Democrats and has been critical of Republican leader Trump in the past.
The singer wrote on Twitter (now X) ahead of the 2020 election, which Trump lost to Joe Biden: “After fanning the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you dare feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts, the shooting starts’???
“We’ll vote you out in November. @realdonaldtrump.”
Kelce has never publicly stated that he aligns himself with a political party.
However, in April, many suggested the NFL legend was revealing himself to be a Trump supporter after he liked a photo of him at a UFC event.
Now the Chiefs star plans to follow his partner and show his support for the Democrats

Kelce caused a stir among Swift’s fans last week when he revealed that he liked a photo of the former president and former ESPN host Sage Steele meeting at UFC 299 in Miami in March.
Trump then further fueled speculation about his political leanings by sharing a photo of Kelce on his own platform, Truth Social.
Along with the photo, the post read: ‘NFL star and boyfriend of Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, is stirring controversy after liking a post by former ESPN reporter Sage Steele and Donald Trump during a UFC event.
“I think everyone, even celebrities, are finally waking up and supporting the MAGA movement. Have liberals finally gone so far left that everyone is leaving?”
After visiting Joe Biden at the White House in May to celebrate the Chiefs’ second straight Super Bowl win, Kelce indicated he would do the same if Trump were in office, saying the following on his New Heights podcast: “Anytime I have an opportunity to be recognized by the president of the United States and to go with my teammates and a group of men and women that I’ve had so much success with to be recognized … I’ll do it every time, regardless of who’s in charge.
“No matter what happens in this world. It’s just such a cool opportunity.”
