Travis Kelce ‘tells Taylor Swift to strengthen her security’ after Eras Tour terror plot in Austria was foiled

Travis Kelce wants her friend Taylor Swift to beef up her security after a terrorist attack planned around her Eras Tour in Austria was foiled.

Three teenagers were arrested in Vienna earlier this month for attacking the shows, prompting Swift to cancel her three scheduled performances in the city. Before that, three girls were killed in a stabbing attack at a Swift dance class in Southport, England.

Swift said she felt “tremendous guilt” about not playing in Austria, but Kelce, who was in the United States at the time preparing for the NFL season, wants her to focus on her safety. It was previously reported that he spent “hours” on the phone trying to comfort her when she had to cancel the shows.

‘Travis advises her to make her own safety a top priority and wants her to have even more security,’ Life and Style quoted an insider close to the couple as said.

‘There’s not much he can do except pray that she’s okay. It’s been so awful, he hated having to sit back and do nothing but wait.

‘He wanted to run to her to protect her, but he clearly couldn’t.

“She had enough bodyguards to protect her, but he still felt pretty powerless.”

The source added that Kelce was relieved that Swift canceled her tour in Austria.

“Money isn’t everything and Travis is proud of Taylor for doing the right thing by canceling her shows,” they added.

“It’s just not worth putting her own life and the lives of her fans at risk, no matter how disappointing it is to people or how much money it has cost her.”

Swift wrapped up her European Eras Tour this past weekend in London and now has nearly two months off before resuming her live shows in Florida.

She is expected to attend the NFL season opener, where Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs play the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 5 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Swift cheered on Kelce for 13 games last season and even raced back to Las Vegas from Tokyo, where she was on tour, to congratulate him on his Super Bowl win.

Kelce, 34, and his Chiefs team are looking to make history this season by becoming the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles.

She is expected to spend more time with Kelce in Kansas City as her tour draws to a close due to his increasing soccer commitments.

Kelce owns a $6 million mansion in a gated community in Kansas City, where he will reside for the entire season.
