Travis Kelce stays coy on his chances of joining Taylor Swift on stage again during her Eras Tour: ‘I can’t let anything out the bag’

NFL star Travis Kelce’s second career as a backup dancer for Taylor Swift may be getting a repeat.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end thrilled the Swifties when he took the stage with his pop star girlfriend for a performance at Wembley Stadium in London on June 22.

When Kelce was asked if he would appear on stage again at a celebrity golf tournament near Lake Tahoe, Nevada, he decided to play it cool.

“I can’t leave anything out of the bag,” Kelce said. “But right now, after golf, I’m in full football mode.”

Kelce’s Chiefs start training camp on July 26, leaving the couple with limited time to celebrate their one-year anniversary. And according to Us Weekly, the couple is considering marking the occasion with another “special moment.”

‘Travis’ schedule is about to get crazy again [and they] wanted to do something fun while he was there [and] “We want to create something memorable for fans,” a source told Us.

Swift’s Eras tour is currently underway in Germany.

Kelce’s performance with Swift at Wembley involved a bit of acting, as he attempted to revive the seemingly exhausted singer along with some of her other dancers.

A lip reader known on Instagram as @tismejackieg claims to have deciphered the couple’s mutual love affair.

“Wake up! Wake up!” the Kansas City Chiefs star is said to have shouted as he carried Swift across the stage at Wembley.

Later in the act, Swift pretended to faint and then said, “I don’t want to!”

Kelce, wearing a top hat, waved dramatically to Swift and told her, “Get back outside!”

This back and forth chatter continued.

“I don’t want to… ugh,” she replied.

“Go back!” he shot back.

No, this wasn’t Shakespeare at the Globe. But for Swifties in London—and maybe some Chiefs fans in Kansas City—it was certainly interesting.

Kelce recently discussed the moment on an episode of his podcast, New Heights.

“It’s not my thing at all,” Kelce told his brother Jason. “I’m not big, I don’t like going on stage. There were a lot of people there, I just didn’t feel at home.”

He also explained how the performance went.

“I initially said to Tay, ‘How funny would it be if I just rode one of the bikes in the 1989 race? [set]’?

She started laughing and said something like, “Would you really want to do something like that?”

Kelce didn’t hesitate for a moment.

“I thought, ‘I’d love to do that, are you serious?'” he said. “I’ve seen enough of the show, so I might as well get to work here. And sure enough, she found the perfect part of the show for me to get into.”
