Travis Kelce slams Rams’ SoFi Stadium ahead of brother Jason’s trip there with the Eagles, saying the stadium gets ‘hot as f***’ because it’s covered by a ‘magnifying glass’

Apparently Travis Kelce isn’t a fan of SoFi Stadium, and he used his brother Jason’s trip there this weekend as a chance to beat the Rams’ home.
Jason and the Eagles will face the Rams on Sunday afternoon, with Philly looking to remain undefeated after a 4-0 start.
And Travis, whose romance with Taylor Swift propelled him into the spotlight, had some warnings for his big brother.
“I hope you guys don’t play during the day where the sun is just beating on top of that magnifying glass covering SoFi Stadium,” he told Jason on their ‘New Heights’ podcast.
“Because it can get hot as f*** in there. There’s no AC, it’s an open stadium, so you’re technically outside with a magnifying glass over you. And it’s turf, like that.”

While Jason said the stadium was “electric” when he watched the Rams beat the Bengals in Super Bowl LVI, he agreed with his brother that playing on grass isn’t ideal.
And Travis had more to say about the state of turf in general in the NFL.
“Right now they’re doing this weird thing where they’re putting a lot of the black pellets, the rubber pellets β they’re putting a lot of that in,” Travis said.
“So it’s almost like you’re standing on top of the turf instead of sinking in… it feels like you’re on an unstable surface.
βMan, I hate it,β Jason replied.
SoFi Stadium opened in 2020 and hosted the Super Bowl in 2022 when the Rams won

Among the stadiums in the league with turf are the Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium and the Giants/Jets MetLife Stadium, where Kelce and the Chiefs defeated the Jets last weekend.
Swift attended that game with a slew of famous friends while watching her new beau Kelce in person for the second week in a row.
It is unclear if she will be in Minnesota this weekend to watch the Chiefs take on the Vikings.
