Travis Kelce shows no sign of his whirlwind offseason with Taylor Swift taking its toll as Chiefs star pulls off ridiculous juggling catch on day three of training camp
Travis Kelce clearly didn’t need any time to get back up to speed during the Chiefs’ practice, despite the hectic offseason he just had with girlfriend Taylor Swift.
After following his pop star girlfriend and megastar across Europe on her Eras Tour this past summer — even performing on stage himself at London’s Wembley Stadium — Kelce finally returned to Kansas City’s training camp on Sunday as the team prepares for the new NFL season.
The 34-year-old was keen to spend as much time with Swift as possible before turning his attention back to football, with PEOPLE He revealed that his final concert performances were “bittersweet” as the couple knew their summer together was coming to an end.
However, it is already clear a few days after his departure for training camp that he has found his rhythm on the field again.

In a clip circulating on social media, Kelce is seen making a sensational catch after a perfectly placed pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes during a training drill.
Kansas City’s No. 87 seems to be in good spirits as he reunites with his teammates. In another clip, he shows off some dance moves as he and his teammates put the finishing touches on the game.
On Sunday, he arrived at training camp with his signature mustache of the season. Later that afternoon, he was seen running several routes and even scoring a touchdown, making for an impressive return to practice.
That led ESPN host Pat McAfee to praise Kelce to the skies. He said on his daily sports talk show:
‘He’s just had an incredible off-season, literally taking over the world. Shows look like this [with a mustache]“Then he scores touchdowns and runs faster than everybody,” McAfee said.
“He’s going to keep doing that until he’s 65. That’s why he’s the greatest tight end of all time when it’s all said and done. Look at his stats, look at what he’s accomplished.”

He eventually turned his attention back to football after spending the summer with Swift
While Kelce has had a great time with Swift, he — who also spent his off-season filming Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity and Ryan Murphy’s upcoming horror series Grotesquerie — is now “back in football mode,” an insider tells PEOPLE.
“His team and the Chiefs remain a top priority,” the source added as they prepare for a third consecutive season.
Defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City will hold open practices at Missouri Western State University in Saint Joseph ahead of their first exhibition game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Aug. 15. Their title defense begins on Sept. 5 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Swift will perform in Hamburg and Munich this week, before heading to Poland with the Eras Tour.
