Travis Kelce’s father, Ed, hinted that his NFL star son might consider heading Down Under to reunite with girlfriend Taylor Swift.
The pop star hit the road again almost immediately after watching her toned boyfriend win the Lombardi Trophy for the third time at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, flying to Australia, where she performed three shows in Melbourne last week.
The singer continues her sold-out show in Sydney this week and now that the NFL season and Super Bowl celebrations are over, Travis might consider a trip to Australia to see his girlfriend perform.
So says his father, Ed, who told the Sydney Morning Herald: “Well, look, we talked after the Super Bowl and I asked him, are you going to leave for Sydney, and he seemed excited.
‘He said he really wanted to see Sydney and Singapore but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments. He’s at a celebrity charity golf outing today, which I think is in Las Vegas.”

Travis and Taylor have adjusted their schedules to make time together as the singer attends 13 of his games this NFL season, including a crazy return trip from Tokyo to Vegas to catch the Super Bowl.
Meanwhile, Travis took advantage of the Chiefs’ bye week in November to play the role of loving boyfriend and watch Taylor perform in front of thousands of adoring fans in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Although America’s favorite couple seems to be managing their schedule well so far, Ed admitted he was worried about the future of the two highly successful lovebirds.
“I won’t pretend I’m not worried about it, he’s my son and I’m worried about him because they’re definitely going to face some challenges in their relationship,” Ed said. “But they seem like a good fit, and in the end they just have to find their way together.”
With the Super Bowl out of the way, Travis should have a relatively open schedule throughout the NFL season until training camp with the Chiefs begins in September.
Meanwhile, after her stint in Sydney, Swift has six shows in Singapore before two months off.
The touring then restarts on May 9 in Paris and Swift will be on the road until mid-August, after which Kelce will have returned to practice with the Chiefs for the new NFL season, which begins in early September.

But during Swift’s tour dates, Kelce could visit iconic sports stadiums in Europe where she will play, such as Wembley, home of the England national soccer team, and Anfield, home of Liverpool, the Premier League team that shares ownership with the Boston Ed. Sox.
The Chiefs star could also use his time in Britain to plan his own adventures.
Recently on the New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason, Travis suggested they do live shows in the UK after hearing they both have the best-selling NFL jerseys there.
“We gotta get there, dude,” the Chiefs tight end said. “I feel like if this is what’s going on in the UK, we need to get a live show there, dude.”
Jason replied, “You don’t have to tell me that, I would be very sorry.”
It was also reported in late December that Kelce had made plans to visit Italian vineyards and top restaurants across Europe for when Swift is between tour dates.

Kelce recently faced backlash for partying in the aftermath of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade shooting that left one woman dead and 22 injured.
Kelce was among the Chiefs stars who went ahead with a “scaled-down” celebration just hours after a mass shooting saw the team’s Super Bowl parade end in tragedy. Other teammates, however, stayed away from the party.
He ultimately matched Taylor’s donations to the GoFundMe page for the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, who was killed by the gunfire.
He made two $50,000 donations from his charity, the Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation.
