Travis Kelce insists he's ready for a “dog fight” this weekend in a potentially arctic Green Bay.

Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will visit Lambeau Field on Sunday to take on the Packers as both teams continue their hunt for a spot in this season's NFL playoffs.

And to add to the spectacle, the two teams are expected to do battle in the snow, with forecasts predicting temperatures of around 20 degrees by the time the match starts.

No matter what the weather is like that day, Kelce is licking his lips at the prospect of a showdown with the Packers, who claimed a 29-22 victory over the Detroit Lions last time out.

He told brother Jason at their place New Heights podcast: 'Shout out to the Packers fans, in that stadium you just feel the history and how legendary it is. And the fans, they make it a man of experience. It's going to be a nice man, it's going to be a nice one.

“Packers are playing good football right now and are coming off a huge win against the Lions, and yeah… we know we're going to be in a damn dog fight.

“This week they're bringing in a few guys from IR. So yes, it will be a challenge for us offensively and we need our defense and special teams to achieve their goals because you have to play a full game against this team.”

When discussing the weather forecast, Jason said, “It's not that cold, I've played worse.”

Travis then replied, “100 percent.”

The Packers currently sit third in the NFC North after amassing a 5-6 record this season while winning three of their last four games.

The Chiefs, meanwhile, sit atop the AFC West with an 8-3 record.

A somber-looking Kelce made time for his fans Thursday morning when he stopped to get gas and grab some candy on his way to Chiefs practice.

It's a sad day for the superstar NFL tight end after he said goodbye to his girlfriend Taylor Swift on Wednesday night, as the pop superstar headed to London to support her boyfriend Beyonce at the Renaissance premiere.

But Kelce put his feelings aside to take selfies and throw fist bumps at his adoring crowd as he pulled up in his Rolls-Royce near his $6 million home on the way to the Chiefs' practice facility.

With Taylor gone, attention for Travis now turns to their big road game on Sunday in Wisconsin.
