Travis Kelce recharges with Taylor Swift in romantic New York trip after Christmas Day on the football field

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce enjoyed a romantic double date in New York on Friday night with Jack Antonoff and his wife Margaret Qualley.

The singer and her three-time Super Bowl-winning boyfriend were spotted leaving the BondST restaurant in Manhattan together, as Swift’s longtime producer, 40, and his wife, 30, followed them out the exit.

As they piled into the back of a black SUV, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end led Swift straight into the car after walking down a small flight of stairs with their fingers intertwined.

The couple, who have been spending more time together since wrapping up her record-breaking 21-month Eras Tour earlier this month, coordinated their night out on the town in similar tones.

However, they were not seen together on Christmas Day. Kelce played in the NFL for the Chiefs, but his team’s victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers means he may now be on a break from football until January 18.

And the loved-up couple’s latest appearance in the Big Apple comes amid more engagement rumors from the Eras Tour birthday party Kelce threw for Swift turning 35 in December.

One photo that emerged from the party earlier in December left the Swifties in meltdown, with the singer appearing to hide her ring finger as she posed next to Brittany Mahomes.

Fans wondered if Swift might have purposely “hidden” an engagement ring to avoid revealing the news that Kelce had finally popped the question.

Swift’s birthday was Friday, December 13, but the photos didn’t emerge from the bash until the following Wednesday, with Mahomes sharing some photos first.

From there, stunning details about the party emerged. Kelce was pictured giving a speech while Swift, her friend Ashley Avignone revealed, thought she was going to a small dinner party.

“When she thought she was going to a small, quiet dinner, but it was actually a huge surprise party with her friends and family, props included,” Avignone wrote alongside her own photos from the party.

Swift and Kelce’s return to New York coincides with Kelce being widely expected to miss the Chiefs’ final regular-season game on Jan. 5 against the Denver Broncos.

After the win on Christmas Day, the Chiefs secured the No. 1 seed for the NFL’s playoffs, meaning star players like Kelce and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes are unlikely to be in danger before the playoffs.

However, Kelce is still expected to report to camp in Kansas City.

And the No. 1 seed means the Chiefs will skip the first round of the postseason, meaning Kelce likely won’t play until the weekend of Jan. 18-19 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

That weekend marks the start of the Chiefs’ bid to win an unprecedented third straight Super Bowl and it’s unlikely Swift will be anywhere other than back in the stands cheering on Kelce.

For now, a weekend with Swift gives Kelce a chance to rest and recharge after playing three NFL games in 11 days for the Chiefs.

In Pittsburgh, his fourth-quarter touchdown also cemented him into the record books for the Chiefs with the most touchdowns in franchise history.

His 12-yard grab saw him eclipse Tony Gonzalez’s tally of 76 and he finished the game with eight catches for 84 yards.

And while Kelce was away from his girlfriend for Christmas, his Chiefs teammates made sure he still felt the love.

They treated him to an extensive range of Christmas gifts worth a whopping $120,000 in an attempt to replace some items stolen from his home.

Kelce’s $6 million mansion was raided by thieves in October, with the Super Bowl winner reportedly losing some precious belongings.

That included $100,000 in jewelry, $20,000 in cash, his first Super Bowl jersey and a watch that has since been found in Rhode Island.

The FBI continues to investigate the case and Kelce, who was reportedly “upset and angry” about being robbed, responded by beefing up his home security amid an NFL warning that a South American crime gang could be behind several players who stole it be a target.
