Travis Kelce planned his Super Bowl outfit before the Kansas City Chiefs had even booked their spot in Las Vegas, according to the designer who picked him out in his latest fit.
Mike Amiri told it Fashion: ‘A month ago his team reached out and said, ‘Travis really wants (Amiri) to make something for him for the Super Bowl.’
‘We became friends years ago. He was an early supporter of my work, and last year, ironically, we actually got to hang out in Vegas. I imagine the biggest brands in the world are waiting for moments like these to dress someone. For us it was really organic, which made it extra special.
“Travis is really a showman, and we thought, this is the first Super Bowl in Las Vegas, so why not let him really represent the entertainment spirit that Vegas is known for, and let him shine a little bit?”
