Travis Kelce lifts the lid on going to Coachella with Taylor Swift and says he had ‘so much fun’ watching her close friend Jack Antonoff’s band Bleachers… while Jason reveals the one thing he hates about the festival

Travis Kelce has lifted the lid on his busy weekend at Coachella with girlfriend Taylor Swift, revealing which bands he loved and how he had “so much fun” watching the singer’s close friend Jack Antonoff.

The three-time Super Bowl winner and Swift seemed to be having a blast during the first weekend of the iconic desert music festival in Indio, California.

It was the first time Swift attended the music festival since 2016, while Kelce was seen at the event with some of his friends in 2022 and 2023.

Photos and videos of stunned fans in the crowd showed them witnessing a number of bands and DJ sets over the course of the weekend, including Antonoff and his band Bleachers.

During the latest episode of New Heights, Kelce opened up about his memorable weekend in the desert and his love for live music.

The Kansas City Chiefs star said, “I love live music, man. I absolutely love live music. I can’t get enough of it in my life. I really enjoy every event. I just like going to events, to places where people see talent, all these talented people in the world. I just like experiencing that s***.

“I love experiencing new cultures and what I really like about Coachella is that it’s not just one genre of music. It’s everything’

‘It was also good to go and see some new bands that I wasn’t that familiar with and just became an absolute lover of their music because of the way they performed and how they captivated the crowd and got everyone involved got.

“Like Bleachers and Jack Antonoff, we absolutely tore it up. I had so much fun watching him go crazy with the guitar and all his guys. He had two sax players, two drummers, two guitars and they just tore it up. It was so much fun to watch.

‘One of my favorite bands at the moment is Jungle. They absolutely killed it. Played one of my favorite songs ‘Cassio’ and I was grooving in there.

‘How could I forget my husband Dom Dolla? One of my favorite DJs here. He kills it every time. He did two sets – he’s also in a combined DJ group with John Summit – but I didn’t get to see them because I was still working.

‘Saturday was such a nice, pleasant day. I love going to Coachella. Hopefully I can continue, but you know the offseason schedule always fills up very quickly.”

Jason, who revealed he had also been to Coachella several times, gave a slightly more cynical take on the event, joking that he needed medication to cope with all the walking.

The retired star added, “Dude, the one thing you gotta be ready for at Coachella is you gotta take your anti-inflammatories.

‘It’s a bit of walking and dancing. You move at Coachella, there are seven different phases.

‘It’s the one thing I regret every year. How much walking there is. It’s great every year, but it’s a lot of walking.’

He continued, “We know who you went with. We’ve seen the photos.’

Travis interrupted, “She supported New Heights.”

Jason then added that Swift is a “huge supporter of New Heights” and that they were “sold out of the green hat very quickly,” before asking why Kelce and Swift were in the crowd, instead of backstage.

Travis explained, “I like to look at it from the fans’ perspective because I’m a fan of music and live shows.

‘I want to see it from the front of the stage. We probably could have refined it that way, but it’s more of an experience when you’re in the pit and the madness with all the fans.
