Travis Kelce is spotted at Stars-Oilers NHL playoff game in Dallas as Chiefs star continues to enjoy offseason between Taylor Swift tour dates and offseason training

Travis Kelce made a surprise appearance during Saturday’s NHL playoff game in Dallas, with the Kansas City Chiefs star chatting in a private suite as the hometown Stars took on the visiting Edmonton Oilers in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.

Both Travis and his brother Jason are known to attend NBA games in their native Cleveland and the younger Kelce claims he turned down a scholarship offer from high school to play hoops for coach Bob Huggins in West Virginia.

But before Kelce became a high school football, basketball and baseball star, Taylor Swift’s boyfriend was actually a pee-wee hockey player in Cleveland Heights.

“I really love hockey,” read an old tweet that resurfaced after Kelce’s appearance at the Stars-Oilers game. ‘I haven’t taken a step forward since I stopped playing after eight years… But that has to change! I miss it too much.’

Kelce wasn’t the only famous athlete in the crowd on Saturday in Dallas. Former Mavericks star and NBA champion Dirk Nowitzki was also seen at the American Airlines Arena, where a statue of the German basketball legend now stands.

Kelce will be racking up the air miles this summer as he flies back and forth across the Atlantic to support Swift.

The Kansas City Chiefs star has played the role of a loving boyfriend, supporting the pop superstar on her Eras Tour since she struck up a romance almost a year ago.

Most recently, the 34-year-old spotted the 14-time Grammy Award winner as she brought her sold-out show to Europe.

With the NFL season approaching, however, the three-time Super Bowl winner will have to perform a juggling act.

The tight end will reportedly go back and forth between Europe and the US as Swift continues her tour, which continues on Friday in Lisbon, Portugal.

Facing a 1-0 series deficit after dropping Game 1 in double overtime, the Stars got on the board 3:39 into the first period when Jamie Benn scored off assists from Wyatt Johnston and Miro Heiskanen.

Edmonton player Connor Brown scored the equalizer a minute later on assists from Cody Ceci and Warren Foegele.

But that tie was finally broken at 3:41 in the third, when Mason Marchment beat Edmonton goalie Stuart Skinner after a series of missed chances for Dallas.

Dallas frontline center Roope Hintz and Oilers forward Adam Henrique both missed another game in these NHL playoffs after being scratched in Game 2.

Both players were described by their coaches as having match decisions.

Henrique missed his seventh straight game, and eighth of nine, since suffering an ankle injury in the first-round final against Los Angeles on May 1.

Hintz was out for the fourth straight game due to an upper-body injury. He hasn’t played since leaving in the first period of Game 4 of the Stars’ second-round series against Colorado on May 13.
