Travis Kelce gives Hollywood a chance.

The Kansas City Chiefs player, who recently became the highest-paid tight end in the NFL, has been spotted filming Ryan Murphy’s new horror show, Grotesquerie, starring Niecy Nash.

Deadline was the first to report Kelce’s casting earlier this week, noting that the FX series is expected to premiere in the fall.

“Late night shenanigans,” Nash captioned a clip of the pair filming a scene in a convertible.

The tight end smiled and threw a peace sign while in the car, adding, “buckle up.”

The three-time Super Bowl champion, who wore white pants with a matching shirt, sneakers and a beige bomber jacket, was seen hugging Murphy in another clip.

“You were amazing,” the Glee co-creator told the athlete.

“I’m just glad I didn’t hurt anyone,” Kelce replied, laughing.

Nash also shared a clip of two director’s chairs with hers and Kelce’s names printed on them.

It comes a day after Nash, who won an Emmy for her role in Murphy’s 2023 show Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, initially revealed she had started filming with the athlete.

“Guys, guess who I’m working with on Grotesquerie?” she teased, before Kelce exclaimed, “Treading into new territory with Niecy!”

The 34-year-old made his acting debut when he hosted Saturday Night Live in March 2023.

He also made a cameo on the sketch comedy show in October alongside his A-list girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

It wasn’t his first time on the small screen, however, as he starred in the reality dating series Catching Kelce in 2016.

In February, he revealed he has a passion for comedy during a press conference ahead of the Super Bowl.

“Man, I’m all comedy,” Kelce said at the time. ‘I don’t know if I’m anything else. I just like to have a good time and make people laugh.

‘But I’m going to get involved in everything. Just to see if I like doing it. And I know there’s definitely Hollywood talk, but I’ve been focused on football all season, so I’ll probably have a lot of those meetings and conversations when it’s all said and done.”

Murphy has a history of helping stars from other fields get into acting, including Lady Gaga, whose first acting role was in American Horror Story.
