Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has revealed that Travis Kelce gave the team an impassioned talk during the Super Bowl halftime show, “turning a few things around” about Kansas City’s second-half comeback and victory over the 49ers to cause extension.
Hardman, who caught the winning touchdown pass with just three seconds left in Sunday’s game, recalled Kelce challenging his teammates to play better as a unit in the second half while Kansas City trailed 10-3 after the first two quarters. Vegas.

When asked about his postgame exchange with Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, whom he connected with on the Allegiant Stadium field after his pre-game reception, Hardman said he and Kelce were “just having a moment.”

Hardman, whose partner delivered their first child during last year’s Super Bowl match, which the Chiefs won over the Philadelphia Eagles, also revealed that Tuesday, February 13 is his son’s first birthday.
He was named after his father and ancestors as Mecole Hardman III.

Hardman and Kelce are believed to have a close relationship dating back to 2019 when the Chiefs drafted the former.
“Yeah, um… actually we have another one coming in May as well,” he said, also recalling his time with the New York Jets earlier this season before returning to the Chiefs, which he played for three seasons (2019-2022).
‘I’m having a daughter who is due to give birth in May. So yeah, it was a roller coaster, as you know, going to New York, trying to get to a new place and then it doesn’t work out and you have to go back to KC to get a new place.
“This has been an up and down rollercoaster, but I wouldn’t have it any other way, definitely win the Super Bowl and get a chance to actually come back, so it’s definitely been a good journey.”
Hardman will be a free agent this season, with many expecting a contract extension offer from the Chiefs.
