Travis Kelce defends his ‘Dad bod’ after Chiefs star and Taylor Swift were spotted on the beach together in the Bahamas: ‘It’s March!’
Travis Kelce joked about his current physique after photos surfaced last week of the Chiefs star rocking a “Dad bod” with Taylor Swift on vacation.
Kelce and Swift, who have been publicly dating for the past six months, flew to the Bahamas for a romantic getaway this month after the pop megastar wrapped up her latest round of Eras Tour concerts in Singapore.
Photographers captured the pair soaking up the sun on the beach on Thursday, as the Kansas City Chiefs star’s relaxed body turned heads on social media during the NFL offseason.
And on the latest episode of his and his brother Jason’s New Heights podcast, with a special guest in new Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, Kelce joked that he’s currently in the same weight class as his 283-pound sibling .

When Barkley asked the brothers who would win a drinking contest between them, Jason first said, “I can definitely drink more volume, I don’t even think that’s a question.”
Travis then said, “Whaaaaaat? You’re already at 260.’
After Jason told him he actually weighs 283 pounds, the Chiefs chief laughed, “We’re in the same weight class now. It’s March! We’re in the same weight class now.’
Kelce enjoyed a vacation with Swift in the Bahamas as she unwinded in the NFL offseason after helping Kansas City become its first consecutive Super Bowl champion for nearly two decades last season.
His girlfriend traveled thousands of air miles to see him play for the Chiefs last season, while he also headed to Australia last month to support the singer and songwriter on her Eras Tour.
At the end of their latest podcast, Travis’ brother Jason made a not-so-subtle hint at a romance with Taylor.
During part of their interview with the new Barkley, the Eagles’ new signing talked about wanting to be the next Apollo Creed, one of the main characters from the “Rocky” movie franchise.

Jason then told Barkley to “throw it out there” because “stuff happens when it gets out on New Heights.”
Those comments referenced Travis gushing over Swift during an episode over the summer after attending her Eras Tour in Kansas City. The younger Kelce wanted to meet Swift at the show and even went so far as to make her a friendship bracelet, common among Swift’s fans, with his number on it.
Although the meeting did not originally take place at one of her concerts, Swift later said that his shoutout to her on “New Heights” caught her attention and sparked their romance.
