Travis Kelce debuts mullet on Instagram sending Taylor Swift fans into meltdown: ‘What in the Billy Ray?!’

Travis Kelce debuted a mullet hair transformation on Instagram on Thursday, sending Taylor Swift fans into a frenzy over the look.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, notably sports the hairstyle from Ryan Murphy’s FX horror series Grotesquerie — and recently made a romantic nod to Swift in a previous episode.

In a short clip uploaded to the show’s main Instagram page, the NFL player – who portrays Ed Laclan’s character – could be seen showing off his normal buzz cut.

Kelce had a smile on his face while also wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and classic jeans.

He then put his hand on the camera and when he stepped back, Travis was wearing a completely different outfit while also wearing a mullet.

He also wore a plain top, a flannel shirt and a brown leather jacket that was left loose in the front.

The star completed the look with jeans and had a skeptical look on his face as he revealed the mullet.

The caption of the post read: ‘Nothing is as it seems. No one is who they seem. Episode 7 of FX’s Grotesquerie is now streaming on Hulu.’

Fans quickly took to the comments section to share their thoughts on Kelce’s mullet, with a humorous tagline: “WHAT IN THE BILLY RAY.” We want Nurse Travis back lol.”

Another typed: ‘Billy Ray hurting, is that you?!’ while someone added, “People predicted a lot of things… but NO ONE predicted Travis with a mullet.”

‘That’s an insane transformation omg. I’m so excited to see what’s to come,” one social media user wrote.

A fan also wrote: ‘He killed me when he came out looking like bush gum. we want Sister Ed back.”

Grotesquerie aired last month on September 25 and has a total of 10 episodes, the last of which will be released on October 30.

Along with Kelce, other stars cast in the FX series included Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Micaela Diamond, Raven Goodwin, as well as Lesley Manville.

The premise is: “A detective and a nun investigate a series of gruesome crimes that seem personal, while grappling with personal issues and uncovering a sinister web that raises more questions than answers,” he says. IMDB.

Travis also got the chance to pay tribute to Taylor Swift in episode three of the show – which was recently confirmed by series creator Ryan Murphy.

In one scene, Kelce and Niecy’s characters attempt to escape from a hospital in a “red getaway car” in a dream-like scene.

Fans speculated for weeks that Travis was giving a romantic nod to Swift, who released a song titled Getaway Car from her 2017 album Reputation.

Murphy told it The Hollywood Reporter that the “red getaway car” in the episode was “a little nod from Taylor Swift.”

He also revealed that the Grammy winner might be in talks to appear in one of his projects.

Ryan explained to the station that he has “talked to Taylor’s people about different things over the years.”

“I will say that I think she’s great and if she ever has time for it, I would do it in a heartbeat,” he said.

‘I think she’s one of the greats. I was so shy to talk to Travis about her. But he’s very sweet and respectful about it.’

Murphy added, “They are a pop culture phenomenon. It’s a very interesting dynamic, the way they capture the imagination of the world.’

Both Taylor and Travis recently spent time together during his bye week — and the couple stopped by Yankee Stadium on Monday to watch the New York Yankees beat the Cleveland Guardians.

And this past weekend, the pair also enjoyed a romantic date night together in New York City.

The Bad Blood singer glowed in a statement gold mini dress and a pair of black peep-toe pumps.

Her blonde locks were parted in the middle and flowed effortlessly down her shoulders in light waves, while her bangs fell gently on her forehead.

The NFL pro — who roasted Taylor’s BFF Blake Lively with brother Jason Kelce — also showed off his sense of style as he donned a blue short-sleeved shirt and tan pants.

Both Kelce and Swift were spotted walking down a busy street while sweetly holding hands before heading into Torrisi restaurant.

The artist officially resumes her Eras Tour dates this week on Friday, October 18 in Miami.

She will also make a three-night stop in New Orleans and later travel to Indianapolis in early November.

Taylor’s tour concludes on December 8 after additional concerts in both Toronto and Vancouver.

Kelce will join the Kansas City Chiefs as they take on the San Francisco 49ers in California on Sunday, October 20.
