Travis Kelce confirmed as the host of new game show ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’ as Taylor Swift’s boyfriend and NFL star lands 20-episode season with Amazon Prime
Travis Kelce has been officially confirmed as the host of the new Amazon Prime show ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’.
The Kansas City Chiefs star and Taylor Swift’s boyfriend will star in 20 episodes of the new show – a spinoff of ‘Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?’ – as he continues to expand his growing portfolio of work outside of football.
“I grew up loving game shows, and I’m thrilled to be following in the footsteps of so many TV icons by hosting my very first show with ‘Are you Smarter than a Celebrity?’” said Kelce.
“The original show has been a huge success, so bringing a new format with everyone’s favorite celebrities to the screen is sure to be entertaining.”
“I’m happy to be here on the hosting side and curious to see how these famous faces hold up.”

The addition of a game show to his workload makes Travis a successful podcaster in addition to his NFL career.
In the format, participants attempt to answer 11 questions at primary school level. They can enlist the help of a class full of celebrities.
If the contestants pass the final question and get it right, they will go home with $100,000.
Kelce is currently enjoying some downtime after winning a third Super Bowl title with the Chiefs in Las Vegas in February.
He’s since been to Australia and Singapore to support Swift on that leg of her Eras Tour before hanging out with the pop star in Los Angeles.
The couple was seen hanging out at Coachella last weekend. They watched Taylor’s friend Jack Antonoff’s band, Bleachers, perform at the festival on Saturday were also seen at the celebrity-filled Neon Carnival party.
It was the first time Swift attended the music festival since 2016, while Kelce was seen at the event with some of his friends in 2022 and 2023.
Kelce is already a successful podcast host, but is now making the transition to television
Travis will reveal all about his Coachella trip on the latest New Heights episode on Wednesday morning.
It promises to be a packed edition for the many fans, as they also look back on hosting a live show in Cincinnati last Thursday evening.
Kelce, 34, was criticized for downing a beer on stage at the end of the event while he was being awarded his diploma by the University of Cincinnati.
It prompted a defensive tweet from older brother Jason on Saturday, saying, “I know it looks like a graduation from the video, but this was actually at the end of a New Heights Live podcast we put on to to raise money for the university’s NIL. .
“The university did this to make fun of my brother and me because we never actually got our degrees.”
In the meantime, a big week lies ahead for Swift, as her long-awaited new album, The Tortured Poets Department, will be released on Friday.
