James said earlier this week that it was “crazy” not to be able to get an invite to Kelce’s “fantastic show.”

“Yeah…they know who’s at the top of our list to try to get up here…they know who’s over there,” Travis added.

“Please, we’ll make it happen, captain,” he added of a potential collaboration between him, his brother and the NBA’s all-time leading scorer in the near future.

Jason then explained why he absolutely wanted James to be on the show, as a guest, and what it would mean for him and Travis, given that they looked up to the four-time NBA champion while growing up in the Midwest .

“We grew up watching you play. We’ve watched your career as a guy from Cleveland and Northeast Ohio – from St. Vincent-St. Mary so far, so…I think it’s safe to say it would be an honor to talk to you,” the Eagles center said.

“Hell yeah,” added Travis – a tight end for the Chiefs. “I remember watching… I went to a Cleveland State game in seventh grade to go see LeBron James play high school basketball. He was selling out arenas, like all over Northeastern. ‘Ohio. It sold so many tickets they had to bring them to a college arena.

‘(…) He fell off the panel and threw it on the ground. I was out of my seat. I was a little kid excited about the new wave of what the NBA was going to be like and sure enough, it did not disappoint. He just kept going up and up…it was cool to follow him.

Jason and Travis then addressed the topic of James already having the chance to carve out a career in the NFL after never-before-seen footage of “The King” playing high school football was posted on social media this week.

James played as a wideout for St. Vincent-St. Mary in high school in the early 2000s. He was recruited by several DI programs, including Notre Dame, before embarking on the journey to become a professional basketball player.
