Travis Kelce caught on hot mic making Super Bowl plans with 49ers rival
The Kansas City Chiefs have played in four of the last five Super Bowls and won three. And if Travis Kelce has his way, that streak will continue with a familiar team on the opposing sideline.
Kelce was caught making Super Bowl plans with his rival tight end, George Kittle, in the moments after the championship rematch ended Sunday in California.
Kansas City defeated San Francisco 28-18 on Sunday, with the Super Bowl revival falling short of the original showdown. The tight ends are hoping this isn’t the only time the teams will face this season.
“Let’s do it again in February, buddy,” Kelce told Kittle.
‘Yes, I know. Why not?’ Kittel responded.

The pair talked about their tams playing again this season in the Super Bowl on February 9
The two tight ends exchanged a few more words, including Kittle complimenting Kelce’s shoes, before going their separate ways.
A Super Bowl 2024 rematch in next year’s spectacle seems far less unlikely than it did before the NFL started.
The Chiefs have lived up to their hype and some say they are the NFL’s only remaining undefeated team at 6-0.
San Francisco was disappointing, sitting at 3-4 with many other NFC teams being more impressive.
The 49ers and Chiefs have met in two of the last five Super Bowls, with Kansas City winning both games, the first coming in 2020.
The NFL hasn’t had a Super Bowl rematch in 30 years, when the Cowboys and Bills met in back-to-back years and Dallas won both games.
