Travis Kelce arrives for Chiefs-Texans clash in fluffy jacket and Louis Vuitton cap… with Taylor Swift set to follow

Travis Kelce has arrived in style for the Kansas City Chiefs’ showdown with the Houston Texans, wearing a fluffy jacket worth $1.6K and a Louis Vuitton cap worth $4.2K.

Kelce is expected to be cheered on in a rare NFL game on Saturday by girlfriend Taylor Swift, who is free to return to Arrowhead for the first time in more than three weeks after dropping the curtain on her Eras Tour earlier this month .

The Chiefs are looking to continue their near-flawless season after winning 13 of 14 so far, with their only loss coming to fellow Super Bowl contenders the Buffalo Bills.

They take on a Texans squad that sits comfortably atop the AFC South with a 9-5 record while enjoying a run of three wins in five games.

Kelce entered Arrowhead wearing a Louis Vuitton x Nigo LV Made Stripe Flat Cap, which is worth a whopping $4,225, a beige faux fur jacket from luxury designer Marni that costs $1,595, and light jeans, brown boots and sunglasses.

But while he may look good, the 35-year-old comes into Saturday’s meeting with Houston in dismal form from a football perspective, with one grim statistic summing up his struggles in 2024.

After fourteen games this season, Travis is the only player in the NFL with 75 receptions or more and an average of less than 10 yards per catch. He’s not even close to that threshold either, with 8.4 yards per catch.

Being the Chiefs’ starting tight end, this is the first season where Kelce hasn’t achieved that goal, as Swift’s buddy usually averages between 12 and 13 yards per catch.

His drop-off wasn’t a one-season decline, with his total yards per catch dropping to 10.6 last year.

Kelce’s yards per catch isn’t the only glaring decline for him this season, however, as he’s also recorded just two touchdown receptions; a surprising number for a man whose career high in a season is 12.

Nevertheless, if he returns to form against the Texans, there’s a chance the tight end could set a new franchise record with Swift potentially watching.

Kelce will surpass Tony Gonzalez with the most touchdown receptions in Chiefs history when he records the 77th of his career this afternoon, after recently becoming the fastest NFL receiver to pass 12,000 receiving yards in his career – in 172 games.

And it’s believed Swift will be watching from the stands if that indeed happens against the Texans.

The pop megastar has attended six of the Chiefs’ seven home games this season, only missing their final outing against the LA Chargers due to her Eras Tour commitments.

Now that her worldwide tour is over, she is free to return to Arrowhead and support her husband as he looks to make history.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs have received a huge boost with star quarterback Patrick Mahomes fit and ready to start after overcoming an injury scare this week.

Mahomes, who suffered a mild ankle sprain in last week’s win over the Cleveland Browns, walked into Arrowhead without much of a limp while wearing a huge white puffer jacket and sunglasses.
