Travis Kelce arrives for birthday charity event in Kansas City as Chiefs star celebrates turning 35 – but will Taylor Swift be there?

Travis Kelce has arrived for the second annual ‘Kelce Car Jam’ as the Chiefs star prepares to celebrate his birthday at the charity event in Kansas City.

Kelce, who turned 35 on Saturday, is once again hosting the annual car show to raise money for children in the Kansas City and Cleveland areas.

It is unclear whether he will be joined that evening by girlfriend Taylor Swift, who is currently enjoying a gap in her international Eras Tour schedule.

But at least the Kansas City tight end will be celebrated with brother Jason and his parents Ed and Donna, who were spotted shortly after arriving at the city’s airport on Saturday.

The siblings kick off Saturday afternoon by hosting Kelce Car Jam – a showcase of muscle cars and swish rides from Kelce and his car enthusiast friends.

In September, US Weekly reported that Swift planned to attend the event, with the publication saying, “Swift will likely be on hand to celebrate his birthday on October 5 with family and friends at his Kelce Car Jam in Kansas City.”

Travis said on his podcast this week that he planned to show off the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle he drove the pop megastar around Kansas City last year after she went to her first Chiefs game.

“This year is the second year we’re hosting a car show, basically a block party style event, where some of the city’s best cars from the Fuel House, a fun car club here, will be on display,” Kelce said.

“And then I think there’s a lot of others lining up. It’s going to be fun. I should have my old ’70 Chevelle all revved up, ready to rock’n’roll. If not, I’ll take one of the other cars I have.

But older brother Jason will be there Saturday night after arriving in Kansas City

“It’s always fun to go out here in Kansas City. Kansas City, they show up every time I’ve done something fundamental, and I love them for that.”

There has been speculation all week that Taylor is heading to Kansas City, with rumors swirling that she would rent a popular barbecue restaurant for a celebration ahead of her birthday on Wednesday night.

However, there have been no confirmed sightings of the Bad Blood singer, who has made significant efforts to mask her flight details and whereabouts since the thwarted terror attack at her concert in Vienna in August.

Swift wasn’t there to see the Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers 17-10 last Sunday. But according to a well-placed source, her absence is not an indication that her romance with Kelce is cooling down.

She simply doesn’t see much of her boyfriend when he’s away, and this season she’s expected to limit herself to attending the Chiefs’ home games at Arrowhead Stadium, including possibly Monday night’s game with the Saints.

That arrangement means they can instead enjoy some quiet time at the sprawling $6 million home Kelce bought last year in an exclusive Kansas City suburb.

Kelce won’t return to action for the Kansas City Chiefs until Monday night

Located on the manicured grounds of a gated community and away from the public gaze, it is the perfect retreat for the A-list couple to host low-key dates, dinner parties and movie nights.

Kelce and Swift went out unnoticed late last month when upscale Kansas City eatery Noka was reportedly closed to the public so they could enjoy an intimate catch-up.

The NFL star returns to action for the Chiefs in their Monday Night Football matchup with the New Orleans Saints.
