Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce plan to turn their steakhouse into the new party spot for the Kansas City Chiefs, the quarterback has revealed.
Last week, the Super Bowl winners announced they were going into business together to launch ‘1587 Prime’ – a modern American steakhouse in Kansas City.
The name comes from their respective jersey numbers at the Chiefs and will open at the Loews Hotel in early 2025.
That will be in time for the playoffs next season, and Mahomes has revealed he would like the venue to become a place of celebration for the team moving forward.
“Me and Travis have been working on it for a while,” Mahomes said, according to Fox4KC.

The Chiefs duo’s hotspot, which is called ‘1587 Prime’ after their respective jersey numbers, will be two stories high and 10,000 square meters in size.
‘We see these restaurants all the time and we love bringing people together. I think the most important thing for us is that we will do everything we can to continue to bring people together. And what better place than Kansas City?”
“Hopefully we can win a few games at Arrowhead Stadium and then we can go there and have some drinks and eat.”
Mahomes added that he and Kelce plan to keep prices modest so everyone can visit.
“We don’t want to make it too fancy and expensive so that not everyone can go there,” he added.
“We’re going to make this a place where hopefully Kansas City can call it home and where everyone can be there and really enjoy it.”
Mahomes and Kelce are working with Noble 33, a hospitality group with an extensive range of restaurants, for this venture.
Entrepreneur Tosh Berman, who works closely with Noble 33, says the Kansas City stars have shared some cool and original ideas, including “hyper-subtle” nods to their respective NFL exploits.
It will also feature a spectacular meat display as its centerpiece, along with one of the largest wine collections in the state.
When he made the announcement last week, Mahomes said, “Travis and I have become frequent visitors to Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City.”
Kelce added, “We’re excited to be part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a unique dining experience, and what better place to start than our own Kansas City.”
