Travis Kelce admitted Monday night that he hasn’t spoken to girlfriend Taylor Swift since Sunday night’s Grammy Awards.
The Kansas City Chiefs plane landed in Las Vegas to prepare for Super Bowl LVIII as Swift won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album, Kelce said.
The tight end made sure the “Anti-Hero” chant won her first hardware of the night when he regained phone service. Still, Kelce said he hasn’t spoken to Swift since the Grammys because she had to board a plane, likely to Tokyo for the Japanese leg of “The Eras Tour.”
Kelce’s time at Super Bowl LVIII Media Night included several questions about Swift that came his way, including her impact on him and the NFL.
“You can’t put more pressure than I put on myself, I promise you that,” Kelce said Monday. “It’s just the heart of a competitor. (Swift) definitely brought a lot of new faces into the game and it was fun to experience that.”

Swift won two Grammy Awards on Sunday night, but hasn’t spoken to Kelce since the wins
Kelce did not answer whether Swift would be attending Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium or if she has a private plane to make the game.
“She seems to enjoy the games,” Kelce said. “She is currently part of Chiefs Kingdom. It’s nice to see her enjoying football, knowing it’s a bit new in her life.
Swift won two Grammy Awards on Sunday, including her record-breaking fourth Album of the Year award, bringing her total to fourteen Grammys.
Swift announced a new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” during her first acceptance speech of the evening, which Kelce said he had heard some of.
Swift has attended 12 Chiefs games this season, including all three Chiefs postseason wins.
