The report comes amid speculation that the brothers could land a nine-figure deal to keep the podcast going after its success, according to the financial information website MarketWatch.

“Companies want Jason and Travis Kelce’s podcast because of the deep relationship they have with their audience,” Eric Silver, head of development at Multitude, a collective podcast studio and ad seller, was quoted as saying by MarketWatch.

‘That’s the most important thing about podcasting. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was $100 million.”

Silver’s comments follow a report in Bloomberg last week that the Kelces are seeking new terms. That report says they could close a deal worth around $80 million.

Jason also continues his foray into media away from the podcast, moving into the broadcast booth amid his recent retirement from the NFL.

It was announced last month that the former center would join ESPN’s coverage of Monday Night Football following his retirement from the NFL, it has been confirmed.

“Monday Night Football just got better, congratulations @JasonKelce,” read a statement on the official social media account of the Kelce brothers’ popular podcast New Heights.

His next move has been the subject of intense speculation and according to The Athletic, the 36-year-old was wanted by a number of networks.

NBC, CBS and Amazon are said to be among those interested in hiring Kelce, who already offers his opinions on football in weekly episodes of New Heights.

But ESPN has won the battle for his services, with Kelce expected to be part of the “Monday Night Countdown” pregame show.

That’s despite the fact that Kelce previously appeared as an analyst on Amazon Prime’s Thursday evening broadcast. He and his wife Kylie also filmed a documentary – “Kelce” – on the streaming service in 2023.

In addition to discussing the NFL, the brothers talk about their personal lives — including Travis dating Swift — and their upbringing in Cleveland.

They started the podcast in September 2022 and release episodes every Wednesday, with a bonus edition every Friday during the NFL season previewing the weekend games.

They have 2.3 million subscribers and their hour and 50 minute episode recapping the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl last month has been viewed 3.5 million times. A guest episode in which Jason’s wife Kylie talks about Travis and his dating life – before he went public with Swift – has been viewed 7.5 million times.

Jason Kelce, 36, is retiring from football having earned career earnings of approximately $81 million in his 13 years with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Travis, meanwhile, has earned an estimated $77 million with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he is a three-time Super Bowl winner, and recently signed a new two-year extension through the 2027 season, with an average annual salary of $17.1 million. that will make him the highest-paid tight end in football.

The cash-strapped 34-year-old has previously said he is thinking about retirement more than he admits, but will continue to play at least one more season with his Chiefs team in search of an unprecedented three-peat.

It will also make for some brilliant content on New Heights next season. During Super Bowl week in Las Vegas, Jason talked about how the show has helped him maintain his bond with Travis.

“I haven’t been this connected to Travis in the last two years since college,” he said.

“And that was one of the best things, probably the best, about the podcast. It forces us – because we are brothers, before we would be alone for months without talking. We would text, send a funny video, but [to] actually sit down and talk to him, it would take a long time.

“It’s been great, it’s the second year, we’ve gotten a lot better at it, I think. First and foremost, I feel like we have a great team; our input is very minimal, we just talk.

If you do this, you know that once a week we sit down and talk. And we get to have very meaningful conversations, fun conversations and really know where each of us are in our lives and that’s the best part about it.

“It has reached the next level thanks to many different factors, including my brother’s love life. But I like to see people enjoying it and it’s nice to see where it is.”
