A travel influencer who swept Paris has died after being run over by a car at a zebra crossing while out for a morning jog in her dream city.
Fernanda Carolina Lind Silva, 31, originally from Santos, Brazil, has lived in France for the past six years.
She worked for a foreign trading company and shared travel tips on her Instagram profile, where she had more than 50,000 followers.
But on Tuesday she was hit by a car while running on a zebra crossing between the Parisian municipalities of Saint-Cloud and Suresnes, suffering serious injuries.
Fernanda’s husband, Pedro Angelo Abatayguara Rosal, was notified of the accident through an app on the digital watch Fernanda was wearing at the time of the collision.

Fernanda’s sister Aline explained: “The watch sent him a notification as follows: An accident has happened to Fernanda and you are the emergency contact.”
Pedro tried to call his wife but got no answer and went to the location he received via the digital alert.
When he arrived, he saw Fernanda being resuscitated in the street.
Aline said: ‘He saw our beloved girl lying on the ground and receiving first aid from paramedics.’
Fernanda was taken to the Hopitaux de Paris in critical condition.
She suffered three broken ribs and a broken collarbone, as well as a very serious head injury.
On Wednesday, Fernanda’s family arrived from Brazil to visit her, but doctors told her she was brain dead.
Her sister added: ‘Although her body showed vital signs that were considered perfect by doctors, the observed brain activity unfortunately decreased until she was declared brain dead around 2pm.’

French police say they are investigating the case as a murder.
They found and arrested the driver who hit Fernanda and he tested negative for drugs or alcohol.
Fernanda had a popular Instagram profile titled ‘@parislowcost’ where she shared tips on how to visit dream destinations like the French capital on a budget.
Her social media also suggests she enjoyed running and took part in the Paris Marathon in April.
Her friend Flavia expressed her sadness over Fernanda’s death on Instagram, describing her as a “courageous and determined woman.”
“My friend, you left too soon, we already miss you so much! But you ran, lived and achieved your dreams. And your dreams became a legacy!,” she wrote.
“Your light will shine forever like the Eiffel Tower you loved so much.”
