‘Traumatizing’ horror sequel leaves moviegoers vomiting in theatres after the last film caused mass walkouts and puking

A new horror sequel has sparked mass strikes and left one moviegoer sick in the theater after its first screening.

Terrifier 3 hit the US and UK this week – and has already left some fans ‘traumatised’ by the extreme violence and bloodshed.

The final film in the series, Terrifier 2, became a viral sensation in 2022 after viewers threw up in theaters, and it looks like the third installment is no different.

According to Boy Bible11 people left a recent screening, nine of whom left during the “sickening” opening act alone.

It was also confirmed that one fan threw up in the movie, with more expected to follow as Terriifier 3 rolls out in more theaters.

A promotional video was released capturing audience reactions to the film Bloody disgusting this week, with one fan saying, “It was definitely a lot.”

“That was scary, but it was good. I’m a bit traumatized,” said another, while one added: “It’s disgusting.”

‘It was depraved. So many people were running away,” said another woman.

Terriifier 2 became a surprise box office hit in 2022, grossing over $15 million on a meager $250,000 budget.

However, when director Damien Leone went to Hollywood to finance another sequel, he faced opposition from some major studios due to the film’s extreme violence.

“I met with studios, like real Hollywood studios, who wanted to make Terrifier 3,” he said JoBlo last year.

“But before I even had a script, just based on the success of Part 2, and just having meetings and feeling like I was going to have eyes over my shoulders, and they were concerned about the levels of bloodshed and this and that, ‘ he continued.

“I knew it, and because I hadn’t seen my script or had any idea what I had in mind, I knew they weren’t going to let me make this movie based on the first five pages. Like that’s how insane Terrifier 3 is.’

Leone went on to say that the opening scene is so gruesome that a mainstream movie studio would “never” let him film it.

‘So mark my words, I guarantee you that the first five minutes of this film will be very controversial.

“But that’s not even the big murder scene. So that’s why I thought, I just have to make this movie on my own, because it’s just too… it’s too crazy.’

The Terrifier franchise tells the story of Art The Clown, a demonic killer who terrorizes the residents of Miles County, New York.

In the third film, Art goes on a murderous rampage at Christmas.

It apparently features a scene so gruesome that actor David Howard Thornton, who plays Art, nearly threw up on set during filming.

The first Terrifier, made on a shoestring budget of just $60,000, was released in 2016.

The film went viral upon release due to a particularly gruesome death scene involving someone being mutilated with a hacksaw.
