- Ali C Lopez, 24, spoke about relationships and gender roles in modern times
- The transgender influencer said she likes men sticking to traditional roles
- She said society is “getting out of control” when it comes to sensitive topics
A transgender influencer has shared her very candid thoughts on modern dating culture, boldly stating that society is too “sensitive” and declaring that “boys need to be boys.”
According to Ali C. Lopez from Arizona, society is “getting out of control” when it comes to controversial topics.
“I feel like we live in a very sensitive society right now, where it’s almost like ‘no babe chill out,'” the 24-year-old said in an interview with Fox News digital.
“It seems like a lot of men expect women in their relationships – especially if they’re already in a committed relationship – to go above and beyond, and to do next to nothing,” she lamented.

The 24-year-old from Arizona said she’s not a ‘big fan’ of toxic masculinity, but she likes it when a man ‘takes charge’
The transgender woman went on to say that she wants to find someone who can handle ‘traditionally’ male tasks – such as fixing a flat tire – but says that is becoming increasingly difficult.
“I also like it when there’s a bit of a gender role in a relationship,” the influencer admitted.
“I’m not a big fan of toxic masculinity, but I like when there’s a little bit of that, like, ‘I’m the man and I’m going to take charge,’ you know,” she said.
Ali said that a future partner “must be able to do more than what my father can do.”
‘Cause if I have to call my dad to do something for me and not for you. Why are you here?’ she joked.
“I feel like a lot of boys need to be boys,” she said bluntly. ‘When it comes to a man’s world…men nowadays expect princess treatment.’
Ali, an influencer, first went viral after appearing on the WhatsApp podcast in May 2023 to discuss feminism and modern dating.
She appeared alongside other Gen Z women, where her appearance was ridiculed by cruel trolls, creating a viral meme about her appearance.

Ali said she has mixed feelings about her rise to online fame after a meme of hers on podcast went viral
Ali said becoming a viral meme was “a bit of an out-of-body experience.”
“You just say, ‘That’s absolutely not me.’ It’s a crazy feeling,” she explained. “And honestly, I’m still pretty new to (being viral).”
‘There is good, bad, exciting, nervous. It’s just everywhere,” she said.
The social media star said she has mixed feelings about being called Gorlock the Destroyer, and there are days when it still bothers her.
‘There was even a time when I thought, “Should I just embrace (the nickname) at this point?” I don’t even care,” she recalled.
Ali also called on her fellow Gen Zers to go easy on the older generations.
“My elders didn’t grow up in this generation where everything was so openly accepted…I can’t blame them for having the mentality that they do because they were raised completely differently than I was,” she explained.
‘They may not understand sometimes (I’m transgender), but I realized that I don’t need them to understand. I just want them to love me no matter what.”
