A transgender murderer who was murdered twice has been transferred back to a men’s prison after he was caught having sex with a female inmate at a women’s prison in Washington state.
Bryan Kim, 35, who now goes by “Amber FayeFox Kim,” was caught having sex with 25-year-old Sincer-A Marie Nerton on March 14 at the Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW).
Months later, Kim, who identifies as a woman, was transferred back to the Monroe Correctional Facility for men. “The reason for Kim’s transfer was due to ongoing safety concerns,” a Department of Corrections official told the National overview.
Kim was convicted in 2008 of two counts of aggravated first-degree murder for fatally stabbing his father, Richard Kim, and beating and strangling his mother, Terri Kim, the Spokesman-Review reported.
In March, a prison guard found Kim “lying on the floor completely naked from the waist down, with her cellmate Nerton on top of them, also naked from the waist down, actively having sex,” according to a report obtained by National overview.

According to the report, this is “in violation of MSU’s rules and policy. WAC-504-Performing a sexual act with another person within the facility not otherwise provided for in these policies, except during an approved extended family visit.”
“Technically, there is no consensual sex between the inmates,” a Washington Department of Corrections (DOC) official told National Review.
But “Washington has softened the sanctions for the offenders involved,” he said. “If both offenders say it was consensual, they seem to get in less trouble.”
The incident resulted in a violation and a hearing was expected.
Kim was convicted in 2008 of murdering his parents, Richard and Terri Kim, had previously struggled with mental health issues. He was sentenced to life in prison for his crimes.
The gruesome murders occurred in their Mount Spokane home on December 5, 2006, shortly after they returned home from work.
After the murders, Kim attempted to clean up the crime scene and hide his parents’ bodies in an outbuilding.
The next day he went shopping and withdrew $1,000 from the account using his father’s debit card.

Kim was initially housed in a men’s facility in Washington, but was later transferred to Purdy in February 2021 under the state Department of Corrections’ gender inclusion policy.
Kim was sentenced to life in prison for his crimes. The defense argued that he had been struggling with mental health issues since childhood. The defense wanted to cast doubt on the premeditation of the crimes.
Kim was initially housed in a men’s facility in Washington, but was transferred to Purdy in February 2021 under the state Department of Corrections’ gender inclusion policy.
The policy, approved by Democratic Washington Governor Jay Inslee, allows male convicts to be admitted to Purdy after an administrative panel accepts their diagnosis of gender dysphoria.
Although the policy is not codified into law as it is in California, it has sparked controversy within the state’s prison system.
After Kim’s transfer to Purdy, reports emerged in December 2021 alleging multiple incidents of sexual exploitation by male inmates who identified as women against female residents, National Review reported.
A former female inmate told National Review anonymously that she had witnessed and heard about numerous cases of sexual abuse by convicted transgender people.

One of these prisoners, named Jonathan or “Jazzy,” faced multiple complaints of sexual abuse filed by female prisoners.
In one disturbing incident, a female inmate woke up to find Jazzy with an apparent erection touching her inappropriately. Despite these allegations, Purdy officials denied having any complaints on file.
Jazzy is also said to have manipulated his victims for weeks, making continued sexual advances until the attack took place.
In November, the Huffington Post published a sympathetic piece titled “Inside The Brutal Struggle For Trans Care In Prison,” which told Kim’s story.
The article suggested that Kim’s actions and subsequent incarceration were linked to the abuse he suffered while growing up.
Kim spoke about the physical punishments and threats his parents had inflicted on him because of his effeminate behavior and cross-dressing during his adolescence.
