‘Transgender’ Bachelorette star Josh Seiter admits his gender transition was a ‘social experiment to expose woke culture’
Former Bachelorette star Josh Seiter has claimed that his much-publicized gender transition from male to female was an elaborate hoax.
The 37-year-old cleaned up during an episode of Blaze TV’s Primetime with Alex Stein on Tuesday.
He wiped off his makeup and revealed that he had turned into a “social experiment online to show how gullible and delusional the left is.”
“I hope this can help some people understand that just because you wear dresses and makeup as a man doesn’t magically make you a woman.”
Before the interview, Seiter confirmed with DailyMail.com that his transgender stunt was nothing more than a “social experiment” he created to cause controversy.
“I’ve been running the program for four months to see how far people will take postmodern gender ideology and woke culture,” he said.

The 37-year-old first announced his transition from male to female in May
“Medical guidelines and scientific literature make it clear that transgender people do not need to have gender dysphoria, transition, use hormones, undergo surgery, or change their appearance in any way to be transgender . ,” he continued.
He then denounced “the science” used to justify modern gender ideology.
“All trans women are biological men who identify as women. All trans men are biological women who identify as men,” he said.
“But the medical guidelines and science use verbal tricks and semantic nonsense to create a vague set of rules that are so contradictory and so amorphous that they are completely meaningless and cannot even define who is transgender and who is not.
“The fact that millions of people are debating whether I am a woman, after 37 years of living as the man I am, anatomically says everything that needs to be said about how shallow the intellectual waters are in which we navigate the trans movement and gender. ideology.’
Seiter and Stein discussed his motivations for the experiment and his desire to change the conversation around mental health and transgenderism.
‘There are people who deserve our compassion and our help, who are struggling and going through a crisis’ and what they need is someone who really understands them, talks to them and gives them love, and not someone who feeds them lies for profit, Seiter said. .
“Why do we say to people with gender dysphoria, ‘Yes, that’s right, your delusions are correct?’ They need treatment just like people with anorexia, just like people with schizophrenia.’
Seiter first announced his intention to become a woman on May 20, in an open letter to his 960,000 Instagram followers.
“I have struggled with my gender identity – and the resulting feelings of guilt and shame – for as long as I can remember,” he wrote at the time.
Seiter denounced “the science” used to justify modern gender ideology
‘I have tried to keep this side of me private for the past thirty years. I felt like I had no choice, given my upbringing in a strict religious, conservative family.”
He went on to say that he had projected “the image of a strong, manly son and brother” to the world, but that he no longer wanted to hide his true self.
At the time, he said he was not undergoing hormone therapy and had no plans to undergo gender reassignment surgery.
The Chicago-based influencer and male stripper appeared as a contestant on season 11 of the Bachelorette, where he memorably stripped naked in front of Kaitlyn Bristowe during their first interaction.
After being eliminated, Seiter returned to work as a stripper and courted a string of high-profile girlfriends, including reality stars Yolanda Leak and Karine Staehle — both of whom appeared on 90 Day Fiancé — and then Love After Lockup’s Lizzie Kommes.
He also briefly came out as bisexual in June 2023, in celebration of Pride Month.
In August 2023, Seiter was part of an elaborate death hoax after a false statement on his Instagram account claimed he had died at the age of 36.
The news spread quickly just days after the former reality star spoke about his mental health struggles on social media.
“It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of Joshua’s unexpected passing,” read the statement, which was later found to be false.
It added that Seiter’s “fearless voice and unyielding spirit helped thousands of people in their darkest moments feel just a little less alone.”
“I’ve been running it for four months to see how far people will take postmodern gender ideology and woke culture,” he told DailyMail.com

Days later, Seiter returned to social media to inform his followers that he was still alive.
“Hey guys, as you can see, I’m alive and well, my account has been hacked, I’ve been desperately trying to get into it for the past 24 hours.
“Someone made a cruel joke and made fun of my mental illness and the struggles I have gone through with depression and suicide attempts. I’m sorry for any pain they caused when they posted that message.
‘I have just regained access to my account, I am going to do everything I can and my team to find out who is behind this. I apologize again for the confusion and will keep you posted as more facts come in.”
He was accused of faking his death for publicity, but Seiter has denied this.
After coming out as transgender, Seiter changed his pronouns to “she/her” and started using women’s restrooms.
While fans initially supported the 37-year-old’s decision, some later questioned his intentions and accused the reality star of ‘trolling’ for attention.
Speaking to DailyMail.com about the backlash in June this year, Seiter insisted at the time that his transition was the real deal – and said his haters were just jealous of his gorgeous looks.
