Transgender Activist Rose Montoya Apologizes For Showing Her Boobs At White House Pride Event

Transgender activist Rose Montoya has apologized for showing her breasts at a White House Pride event last week.

The controversial model, 27, apologized by posting a video to Twitter on Friday in which she apologized to the president and the LGBT community for her “inappropriate” behavior.

“In a quick moment of fleeting and overwhelming trans joy, I decided to do something unbecoming the president’s guest at the White House lawn party,” Montoya said.

“I would like to take this moment to apologize for the impact of my actions.

“I especially want to apologize to my black trans brothers and sisters, especially transgender women who are black,” she continued.

“Because I understand that you are all constantly affected on a disproportionate level by the actions of others, and especially by anti-trans violence,” she explained.

Montoya also apologized to her family and friends who she says have been “harassed” in the aftermath of the incident.

The influencer then apologized directly to the president and “the nation,” concluding, “It was also never my intention to create a situation that would lead to harassment and harm to myself and others, nor to trans joy like my little moment of trans joy to be armed by vile people of the opposition.’

Montoya has since been banned from the White House after going topless at a Pride event where she met the president.

Rose Montoya, 27, unhooked the top of her dress on Saturday and grabbed her chest on the South Lawn as someone shouted, “Are we topless in the White House?”

Video of the move went viral on social media and was condemned by the White House.

On Tuesday, a White House spokesperson told DailyMail.com, “This behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful to any event at the White House.

“It is not a reflection of the event we hosted to honor LGBTQI+ families or the other hundreds of guests who attended.

“Individuals in the video will not be invited to future events.”

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre reiterated that point during her press conference on Tuesday.

“Individuals in the video will definitely not be invited to future events. And this has never happened before. This was not normal that has happened under this government,” she said.

Montoya was one of thousands invited to a Pride Month concert on the South Lawn Saturday at the White House.

Montoya shared an Instagram montage of the day with her 103,000 followers, and she danced to the DJ and struck striking poses in front of landmarks like the Washington Monument and the Truman Balcony of the White House.

She also meets Jill Biden and tries to take a selfie with the president – accidentally shooting the camera on video instead of photo.

During her meeting with President Biden, she also said, “Trans rights are human rights.”

She captioned the video: “I had the honor of attending the White House Pride, the largest in history where the Pride flag flew for the first time.

“This is trans joy. We are unapologetically trans, queer and brown here in the White House.”

When the video went viral, she pointed out that being topless in public wasn’t illegal in Washington DC.

The White House hosted the concert after it was postponed from its original Thursday date due to smoke blanketing the city from the Canadian wildfires.

Biden and his administration have emphasized that they are allies of the LGBTQ movement.

“You are loved, you are beautiful, you are heard, you belong,” Jill Biden told the audience on Saturday.

Montoya has been open about her breast augmentation in September 2020, tracheal shave in November 2020 – to remove an Adam’s apple, and genioplasty in March 2021, which makes the chin more feminine. Montoya has not had buttock surgery.

After her latest surgery, Montoya went viral after denouncing airport controls, calling them insensitive and inappropriate.

Montoya was flying from Phoenix to Los Angeles when she was stopped by security after the full-body scanner detected an “abnormality” between her legs.

Can we talk about how horrible it is sometimes to travel while being transgender? I always have a huge fear of going through security,” the Spanish model explained in her viral TikTok, which has been viewed 19 million times.

“And this means that I recognize the privilege that all my documents are correct,” she continued.

“So, for example, the gender marker on my driver’s license says female.

“But when we go through the scanner, there’s a male scanner and a female scanner in the TSA checkpoint.”

Montoya, who has more than 481,000 TikTok followers, uses her platform to educate others about the difficulties transgender people face.
