- Real Madrid wants to sign Kylian Mbappe as a free agent this summer
- Jordan Henderson has been linked with moves to Ajax and Juventus
- CHRIS SUTTON: Don’t wait! Sir Jim Ratcliffe must fire Erik ten Hag now – it all starts
There are still two weeks left in the January transfer window and if anything, we could be looking at a grandstand finish.
The story surrounding Kylian Mbappe’s future continues to have more twists and turns than a season of succession, with Paris Saint-Germain desperate to keep hold of their record goalscorer.
Earlier this month, reports in France suggested that Mbappe had finally agreed to join Real Madrid as a free agent in the summer after a two-year pursuit.
However, PSG have not given up hope of retaining the French star and are willing to put on the table a deal worth £86 million per year, which would almost triple Real’s offer.
Speaking of exorbitant wages, Jordan Henderson could soon say goodbye to his £700,000-a-week salary in Saudi Arabia as his departure from Al-Ettifaq draws closer.
Elsewhere, Manchester United have been linked with Lille and France Under-21 stars Leny Yoro and Viktor Gyokeres could not join Chelsea after all.
Below, Mailsport looks at the transfer rumors on Wednesday morning.
