Manchester United and Chelsea could be in for a busy January season, with both Erik ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino reportedly willing to sign multiple players.

Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek could all leave Old Trafford next month after being frozen out by ten Hag.

Pochettino, meanwhile, could part with a pair of expensive defenders after suggesting Chelsea need to get out of trouble this winter, despite investing more than £1 billion in three transfer windows since Todd Boehly took over.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich remain interested in Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha and Aston Villa are monitoring a midfielder from RB Salzburg.
